Has anyone ordered from GW since they reopened the web store and received their order yet?

I was about to put an order in but then noticed it said shipping within 28 days!

How long did it take your order to come?

About a week or so?

My Amuliuses arrived pretty quick out the gate once they’d reopened. My first order of various odds & sods was a week, give or take. And my final recent order remains pending.

Don't forget its not just that GW has reduced numbers of staff working in their warehouse; there's also reduced numbers of staff working in all the delivery firms as well. Sorting offices are huge warehouses and they have to socially distance too - plus the whole postal service is seeing orders in excess of christmas periods.

There's a whole lot of parcels going around and the parcel forces are working with less staff than normal. Even if GW gets your parcel out fast it might arrive later because of the delivery firm.

It's why "next day" is basically not happening for anyone save for emergency deliveries.

A small order as soon as the web store re-opened. Nothing as yet. My FLGS tells me that GW are prioritising FLGS re-stock and orders over their webstore customers.

A bit of everything really....... Titanicus, Bolt Action, Cruel Seas, Black Seas, Blood Red Skies, Kingdom Death, Relic Knights, DUST Tactics, Zombicide the lit goes on.............

Order some paint first day the reopened, had to pay for courier shipping as included sprays. Nothing heard since.

Oddly if I had waited and ordered from a third party probably would have it already.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Considering GW's stock from 3rd parties was basically stripped I'm not surprised. GW has fewer staff on hand and is likely getting record sales volume all in one go. Some delay is inevitable. Plus its going to take time for staff to get used to working with social distancing.

I've emailed customer services to ask if my Amulius can be changed from store to home delivery. I ordered via my phone and just clicked through and I have store delivery as a default. Plus I was only after one, not ten or however many you looted.

It might not make any difference if they can't as I'm not due home until 8 July anyway.

I ordered on the 3rd and I have heard nothing yet still says pending but money has gone from my account. Spent about £150 on paints, spray, glue and Blood Warriors. Just waiting now...

Does seem to be roughly a week. The Wracks I ordered for another Dakkanaut shipped but a few minutes ago.

Still no word on the MtO models, but patience enough there!

It takes about a week for it all to get processed and sent out, give or take, though personally I did pay extra for express shipping which might've bumped things up a bit, though this is only because Royal Mail is utter garbage once it crosses the Channel and turns an easy two-day delivery into one that takes six to eight weeks under normal circumstances.

If you've been waiting more than a week it might be wise to send them an email and have them check it out.

The Made to Order models have a waiting time of around 180 days, probably more due to the factory being off-line now.

My order before lockdown arrived days ago.

Placed one on opening day and still sat on pending.
Kind of expected to be fair.

Ordered some LOTR stuff on 2nd day. So far they haven't sent it.

Well not totally unexpected on the situation. But not much I can do. I order direct from GW only mail order stuff which GW delivers insanely slow to FLGS if I order those from them.

At least they fixed ETA on mail from 24h to 28 days ;-)

I ordered a couple of paints since I expected LFGS' to not receive anything for months, but the reverse happened. After over a week they hadn't shipped anything and I prefer buying from independents anyway so I just asked them to refund the order.

Well GW just sent note that the LOTR order from 2.5 was shipped.

I would suggest not ordering anything online right now for at least 3 months. Shipping times are messed. Have been waiting near 3 months for my shipment. No reply from gamesworkshop for 7 days now. They have this bad customer service setup where it takes apparently 5 days to simply reply to you. Then another 5 days to reply to what you replied... probably the worst customer service I’ve experienced in some time. Save yourself the stress and just don’t order from them. They are in a state of useless right now..

I made an on order on the day they started accepting them again in the UK (01/05/20). It’s still Pending... Kinda wish I’d ordered from Element Games/ Dark Sphere/ etc instead.

I ordered some paints and glue on the day they reopened.

This was courier delivery because of the glue.

It arrived after 7 days so not too bad

My pre order for Prophecy of the Wolf arrived 2 days after they reopened

Has anyone outside of the UK had any problems with Royal Mail?
Are there regular flights at the moment (considering the situation).
I want to place some orders, but given that my last parcel, sent when the crisis started via Royal Mail, got shipped to Malaysia (on top of being delayed), decided to check if postage is working adequately again, within reasonable limits ofcourse.

Hard to say.

When my GW stuff has shipped of late, it’s arrived the next day. But two items bought from eBay, and shipped the same day (tracking confirmed this), they took a week.

https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5317/~/international-incident-bulletin

Bulgaria (if your country flag is accurate) is on the list for having issues. As they say a lot of the normal flight pathways are closed, that's because a lot of mail used to hitch a ride with passenger planes. With so many not going on business nor holiday trips many of those planes are simply not flying and its not economical to put only the postage into the plane to have them fly with just that. So some networks are shut down or disrupted whilst international groups try to work out new pathways to deliver. This might just mean things take a really long time so they discourage you to avoid added complaints of "where's my parcel".

Ah, thanks for the link. So it seems that with flights still being limited it is best to start looking for a truck transport alternative...

Ordered a clutch of paints Sunday evening.

They arrived this morning - but order is still showing as ‘Pending’ on the website, with no dispatch confirmation!

Wonder if I’ll get a second lot?

Not exactly applicable, but my USA order came through in much less than the 28 days they warned.
I ordered some a stack of plastic the second or third day they were open and it took about a week.

Doesn't really help you all in the UK, but . . . There are GW people out there.
