Ok, first off I'd just like to say there is zero way to correlate the answers you got there with the answers you get here. None. Even if you didn't have a weird third option, and simple yes/no wouldn't line up with yes/no there, because you have no idea if the same people are answering.

Also I did, but I refuse to answer a ridiculous poll that includes pound signs for no reason.

Primaris deathwing and raven wing, and a ton of necron stuff, it was a no brainer for me.

Constantly being negative doesn't make you seem erudite, it just makes you look like a curmudgeon.

I was interested in some of the necron models, and because the box disappeared so fast, decided it would be wise to pick them up now rather than risk they be difficult to obtain later (I have a lot of bad luck in that regard).

I'll be using them for my 8E/custom games.

I bought one copy. I used to play Necrons and sold the army a few years back. I've spent a lot of time missing it, so I was excited to get in on all the new models.

Then I saw the marine half and I knew this was the set for me.

I'm moderately interested in some of the Necrons and perhaps the Eradicators for my Deathwatch, but I haven't pre-ordered a copy - there will be plenty available on release day.

I'm weighing up whether it's worth getting a full box and going through the effort of selling off the Marines which I don't want and owning another full size hard copy rulebook which I'll never use, or if it's better to just ebay the individual bits I want.

I'd also like to know if GW is going to put out smaller starter boxes which contain some/most of the same sprues like Know No Fear, which they might announce soon.

Pound signs? Where? I can see a #, but no £.

I'll answer this on Saturday - I've ordered a box, but given GW shenanigans, I'm not viewing it as secured until I have it in my grubby mitts.

No, it was sold out by the time I could get online and the only models I really wanted were the assault Intercessors and the chaplain.

Also looking forward to a new version of First Strike, which worked a whole lot better as an intro to the hobby than Dark Imperium did last time around.

Interesting to note that at this point, 47% report securing a whole box, while only 7% report securing some part of a box.

Yeah, if Crons were one of my armies then I would get two of these.
The Cron models are very cool imho.
Much improved over past iterations.
Plus the new units and storyline seems interesting - more than the marine story, imho.

No. Love the contents, but I'll never get to painting them, and I already have far too many unfinished armies as it is. It is a great box though, so I am excited for those who are getting it. I liked the judicar model enough to buy one of eBay though, so I suppose I have bought a tiny part of one.

I feel this way too. Not about the judicar (cool model, less interesting character imo), but about the boxset.

I love Crons and the new models are excellent and the range is awesome. Weighing up buying the Cron half off someone. But I don’t really think I can justify it with a full army in my backlog. Meh at least they look fairly quick to paint right?

I bought three. two of them I am splitting with a buddy cause he wants to play Necrons, and one of them is a gift to a buddy that plays both Necrons and space marines.

He fell on some pretty hard times, like, unbelievably hard stuff, so I'm hoping an Indomitus box just showing up for him will lift his day up a bit.

I haven't gotten it yet and I probably won't. I don't play Necrons, I don't need the Characters or Bladeguard (I intend to Kitbash a Chaplain and Bladeguard for my Emperor's Spears), so that just leaves Assault Marines, Eradicators, and Outriders, which I imagine will have their own boxes eventually.

There's a couple of people in my gaming group who are buying/splitting multiple, so I'll see if I can grab the rulebook from one of them.

On moon miranda.

I don't play loyalist Space Marines, I really don't like the Primaris fluff, and I don't play Necrons, so there wasn't much draw for me as a consumer.

If they wanna do a DKoK vs Necrons boxed set from the Fall of Orpheus (IA12), they'd have my cash in a heartbeat.

Yeah I went in for the Marines. It's just a crazily good deal. So good that I almost want the Crons as well, but come on, there has to be a ceiling on how many armies one man can have right?

Right?

Nope. there were too few models I would like to field, and no digital copy of the rulebook either.

After 9th getting released, I am kinda keen on starting a necron army, but I only want to use the non-humanoid models. I wonder if an army like that will be viable...

Buying the assault interecessors separately when the multipart kit gets released. I refuse to buy any more ETB primaris because their shoulderpads are never removable, and it makes adding chapter specific shoulderpads a PITA.

I had originally not intended to, after it sold out so fast, I was not super excited. But then a local gaming store sent out a message that they had a few spare still somehow, and I snagged one of them. So I will have a box on Saturday.

Looking forward to the Necrons, not sure what I'm going to do with the Marines though, I might just paint them because.

Didn’t end up trying to get one as I only want a few kits from it, a Judiciar because he looks awesome and might make a nice bodyguard unit for my back line. I will probably get some bikes later when they come out in a normal kit.

Also I was low on funds when it came out.

Bought two boxes, split them 4 ways as 3 Marine players wanted just part of the boxes (I kept one of each characters, the BRB and 2 squads each for the Eradicators and Blade Guards) - the Necron stuff + 2nd BRB went to a single person to kickstart his new Necrons

pretty awesome deal for everyone involved at €120 per box

I have one box on preorder. The space marines are some of my favorites yet, other than that Judicar, ugh. The necrons look good, but I don’t know if I’ll keep them in the long run.

I have a box on pre-order. I've had a small Necron army gathering dust since the end of 3rd ed. and the newcrons gave me inspiration to dust them off. I even bought the new Szeras (Heaven help the poor sap who tries to assemble that model without activator, and he will probably NEVER travel with me! ). I don't like the Marine half, so I am splitting the box with a friend.

Edit: I just googled ablutions and apparently it does not including dropping a duece. I should have looked it up early sorry for any confusion. - Baldsmug
