The miniatures tend to be set up to showcase all of their wargear. An archer with a melee weapon might be kinda nice.

Indeed, old metal chaos thugs had bows.

And there was the plastic one released with the Battle Masters game.

After that... nothing until the Godsworn Hunt set I can think about...

Yeah it's Slaanesh. Damn, was hoping for Khainite.

Don't know if you count these guys:

I wouldn't personally - the thing I hope for most is a wide range of unmutated chaos mortals.

So I can then convert them to non chaos (and often non warhammer) purposes.

It's rather easy to convert them into normal unmutated beaked goatmen.

Yeah timing wise it’s probably all specialist games and boxed game type things.
Looking forward to Underworlds, and always like seeing Blood Bowl, Necromunda and Warcry bits.

A new Quest would be nice to see.

Slaaneshi Mortals would be a nice big reveal, but it's likely just an Underworlds band.

I mean, that's a start, but I'd want an expansion of Slaanesh ahead of the inevitable Emp's Children Codex.

As for what to expect? Blood Bowl, Company Store Edition, along with the next Underwords, some Warcry, and if we're lucky a look at the Van Saar book (but probably not).

Right, for beastmen.
I will not count them for a Slaves to Darkness army,
but this is just me.

It would be fantastic to have a mortal battle line troop choice for the hedonites, but you are right, it would probably be just the Underworlds band
from the box with their lumineth counterparts.

Excited anyway.

One of the Darkoath warband has a bow. I'm still surprised they haven't become an army in their own right. I would like to see them get a warcry warband to go with the underworlds one.

Would be good to actually get that inevitable Emprah's Kiddies codex already regardless of what comes before or after. GW's been inserting Fulgrim sightings into books for more than three years now. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

But yeah, anything Slaanesh is appreciated, and Hedonites should have gotten mortal followers with their book instead of drawing it out like this.

I will say that I don't expect mortal followers of Slaanesh anytime soon, though, other than that boxed set champion and the Underworlds starter. The rumor engine has been filled with... stuff, and it seems we'll be getting a new undead army first. Maybe we'll get lucky and they release a unit or two in campaign book now that they started with Morathi, or they finally release Slaanesh in the new edition and we even get them in the starter set.

It's Underworlds. In fact, we've already got a pic of the shield model already.

After is better. Before means that they won't be in the Codex.

Yeah, I suppose there's no way of getting around "GW gonna GW".

Something to remember is that we're pushing into what looks like the home stretch for a new iteration/phase of AoS.
Slaanesh is breaking free.
Teclis is leading his Teclian Vanguard into the Realms at large for the first time, specifically to try to lessen the damage that Slaanesh will cause upon breaking free.
Morathi's making a play for Godhood.

They've known where they're going with this. The lack of Slaanesh mortals and then the prompt showing of them in both Direchasm and the Shadow and Pain box is a clue that we're likely gonna see something Big developing on that front.

Which is great. Just as long as it happens before any Emperor's Children book, as it increases the chance of cross-over minis.

Though all that undead could easily just be a warband in S4 Of Underworlds.
We know three of them, and can guess a missing three? or so (none of those 6 are death focused I don’t think). So perhaps..

That's assuming there's only three more. We might be getting 5 more, bringing the total to 8 instead of 6.

It looks like we're getting this time around, based upon ones we've actually seen clues for:
-Seraphon(confirmed)
-Lumineth(confirmed)
-Hedonites(confirmed)
-Soulblight(potentially confirmed via a few rumor engine bits)
-Ossiarch Bonereapers(highly likely. We've seen an Ossiarch Bonereaper styled axe)

That's 5 right there, just based upon stuff we have actually seen. That's not getting into some of the other weirder and far out bits of Rumor Engine that could be WarCry OR Underworlds.

Yeah, I'm betting that crab claw will end up being warcry or underworlds. Probably Deepkin or some weird kind of mutant

We are definitely getting 5 more on top of those yeah.

Didn’t explain myself properly. I mean 3 we know, 3 we can guess (armies that haven’t had them yet), thus leaving 2 wild cards - that’s where I think a new race or faction could fit in.

Thats assuming no repeats- another stormcast warband (as disappointing as I would find its inclusion to be) is not unlikely.

Even so, the preview this saturday will likely be focusing on revealing the starter box. I expect them to say "watch out for Warhammer Community for more information!" for the rest.

About Warcry, it will be certainly the Tome of Champions 2020. We already have seen the new starter box, but it can't hurt to see it again.

And about Blood Bowl...We already saw the most of it in the leaks a few months ago. They'll have to talk about the Necromantic Team, since its release should be close now - and they have to release it before the new season, so that they can sell the last Spike! Magazine before the new starter box with new rules. So pretty sure I will see nothing that I already know at this point.

I believe this preview will show nothing really exciting nor big. Get ready to be disappointed. Again.

In previous previews we’ve know about the next thing, but they’ve shown us the next thing after that.

I can’t imagine they’d just be showing the necromantic team again, it’ll be something else.

S4 underworld starter yes, but that’s because we haven’t actually seen it yet.

My bet is on the Spike! Magazine and the Necromantic game accessories (terrain, dices, cards). We didn't see them so far. Maybe a few Forgeworld miniatures as well, which is useless because we know the awful amount of time they take to release anything Specialist Game anyway.

They showed us before because they had no choice. When the leaks became too massive, they stayed silent because they couldn't reveal that much so early. It really messed with their communication plan that time.

Given the time left before the new season and the fact they have to sell the last Spike! Magazine and cards for the current edition before the new rules make them obsolete, I'm pretty sure they won't be able to dig too deep in what comes after the new season.

Underworld and Warcry will be the "real" surprises, and even so, I don't expect them to be stellar.

Yeah FW is a good shout.
And it may be just accessories etc, who knows.

All I’m saying is, it won’t be the things we already have seen, as that’s not how they’ve done a single preview yet (aside from full views of partial teased models, everything else was a new reveal.

Everything they have revealed in these has been what was meant to be event reveals, and with the time of year of this, there would have been a reveal even if it were alli person etc
