Subject: Games Workshop Preview Saturday October 17th--"Gridiron and Glory", now with countdown previews!
I wonder if the reveals tomorrow would have been a lot larger, but were cut short by the Blood Bowl leaks. We already saw three or four teams leaked online, and WarCom had to damage control and preview them early

I think there's still room for a fairly big preview tomorrow. It just seems to be the Spiel-Essen preview moved to now rather than later.
Honestly, if I had to guess the biggest thing changing here? It's that there won't be a Warhammer Quest style preview. That's something that likely got hit hard by 'rona, as the cardstock stuff is produced in China.

There was a Warhammer Quest preview announced somewhere, or is it just some fan wishlist ?
Quite a lot of the rumour engine appear to be flesh eater court/ghouls. They already had a recent shadespire warband, are not due a new AoS book so unlikely to be new models for that and it would be odd for them to suddenly get a warcry warband with new sculpts. Ghouls (and possibly a vampire) as the bad guys in a new warhammer quest would make the most sense, as it has been awhile since the last aosWH quest was discontinued. The flintlock pistol rumour could be for a hero in the game too.

A few of the things that people swear up and down to be Flesh Eater Court(which are the same faction as Ghouls) are more along the lines of the Vampire aesthetic established awhile back. We had a vampire that was more 'bestial' while still wearing full plate armor and wielding a greatsword for example.
Also worth mentioning that a faction getting tapped once for Underworlds does not necessarily mean the faction won't get tapped again. The warband for Underworlds(Shadespire was season 1, Nightvault was season 2, and we're out of Shyish and into Ghur[Realm of Beasts] now) was all Ghouls.
Besides, I don't think the cardboard is an issue linked to 'rona, since the new Warcry and Bloodbowl starters will have some as well. The terrain board are all cardboard in the end. Not even talking about Underworld (hello cards !).
And if there is another Warhammer Quest, it will be 40k again IMHO. Which is not Warhammer Quest, to me - it just has the name put next to it. But I don't expect anything soon about this.

If a new warhammer quest game gets announced I can't help but think it's only in response to Hasbros Heroquest getting so much love.
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if the Heroquest announcement might mean a rethink on GWs part as to what they want their next warhammerquest to contain miniatures and gameplay wise.

And speaking of the ghouls, if it were ghouls (though I’m more inclined in the vampire Underworlds option).
Bear in mind there is the AoS campaign narrative of books thing.
One could easily be centric on them and have a model (which could be one or several of these rumour engines all in it then the rest vamp or something else.), or even a new special unit (though less likely)

They're done with Blackstone, announcing new WHQ to milk the boardgame crowd with new DLC...i mean expansions would make sense with our without hasbro's little nostalgiabaiting. Especially since designing or even planning a release takes years, so if they show anything, it means they started work on it long before Hasbro announced their begstarter.

If they do announce a new Quest game today, I just hope they don't release expansions that require other expansions; especially ones that cost £65. Was going to throw caution to the wind and get BSF and Deadly Alliance together, but it said it required Escalation and had zero interest in that one.

Well that will depend on whether they have any minis to show.

It's funny, they make it like the leaks never happened. ^^
Nothing really new except the referees and game accessories. The true news are that the Spike! Magazine for Necromantic Teams is compatible with new rules.

Also in addition to the boxed set with two full teams (includes the heavies and star players); there's also a new issue of SPIKE (11) and two books which appear to combine stories from the legacy of Bloodbowl into single pubilcations with Death on the Pitch and the Blood Bowl Omnibus - the latter contains Blood Bowl, Dead Ball, Death Match, Rumble in the Jungle - which is basically the "Black Library ebook bundle" for Bloodbowl.
Release in November!
ALSO the Twitch just revealed that the two teams are pre-coloured plastic. All the teams are also in the book (Lizardmen also confirmed in the core book) from the main game with full stats and everything.

What team is alphabetically after Lizardmen, which Adam said he can’t say as it’s a spoiler?
Sure he said Necromantic, so is it between the two?
Or I filled that blank in, in my head..
