Is this the first Craftworld rumor picture we have seen in ages?

It's not enough, it's too expensive, it's not x, I hate it, a space marine was released within six months of it, why don't xenos get anything? No, not Necrons, not Orks either... etc etc.

Looks like the electronic Simon memory game has a long future ahead of it.

Considering they are the faction that by far needs a huge update.
GW are either hiding a ton of stuff, or Craftworld Eldar are fethed.

It would be interesting, given that the hands appear to be wearing leather gloves rather than the Guardian armor...which is more of a Ranger-y thing than Guardians.

First of all, just excited to see a Craftworld image, period.
I do agree with kan that it appears gloved and therefore different than the normal Guardian hand, but it doesn't resemble Rangers either.
I doubt it's for a support weapon as the current one is just fine and reasonably new.
It could be a redone Ranger, and have some kind of new support weapon with it.
It could also be mounted on a vehicle, something open topped.
The cynic says to me it's just a single model......that opens the webwaygate, that gets even worse rules for 9th.

You now have to buy each half individually for the device to work, and each one takes up a separate slot on the FOC. And it's a LoW.

And it's not like Eldar are given to weird descriptive names like Striking <Insert Animal Here>, Swooping <Insert Animal Here> etc.

As a fun little note, found this tidbit about Illic. Didn't remember the exact names but here are some they've had him go by:

He is known to different Ranger bands by many different titles; the Sentinel of the Stars, the Wayforger, the Shield of Alaitoic, and he cares little which name is used.

Definitely Eldar, which is in itself the biggest thrill. I hope its updated guardians.

So either its Eldar Ultimate Frisbee or a Duel Disk where the Eldar is trying to summon Exodia.

It would be kinda interesting to have Rangers getting a new name, if I'm honest.

We now have in other armies:
Rangers(AdMech)
Pathfinders(Tau)
Starstriders(named Rogue Trader Kill Team)

What would you call them if you got the chance? I'd swap the "Waywatcher" or "Waystrider" name over to them. It's gone from AoS now, so it's up for grabs.

It's Aeldari, but I wouldn't be so sure that it is Craftworld-related.

The glove doesn't look craftworldy at all. The three radial bits look like the end of a cable or rope, maybe some sort of rigging. But the concave form doesn't fit the Drukhari aesthetic.
Exodites are a possibility. It is feasible that they use lower-tech ropes for their dragons.

But my money is on a Harlequin thespian stage centrepiece model like the Triumph. Star-bolas have a similar 'three spokes' form. The glove would fit. The concave shape is in line with the Harlequin design ethos. Ropes would fit the theme as well.
