Hmm, I don't think it's the same. I can't really see the chain on the grot, or the rounded shock absorbers. Possible there are other cyborks (-squigs, -grots) coming.

is this? , need to see a side view to be sure but I think so

Mmmm, no doesn't seem so, the Gretchin's tire has studs on it and the Rumour Engine tire has ribs and ridges like an actual tire. Besides, the Rumour Engine one seems to be coming out of some kind of fleshy or fabric stumps, and the Gretchin's just go up to a metal band on his waist.

Also, the rumour engine support struts are cylindrical where the grot’s are a rough, sharp-edged mess.
Oh and the chain drive should be obvious on the grit but appears missing, plus the rumour engine image has the body leaning much further over the “front” (left of the image).
Finally, I’m pretty sure the flesh in the rumour image is too dark to be the grot’s.

I still think it's gonna be a Squig of some kind

The plus side is it means something else in the range has a monowheel.

Really? Fishmen (elves?) in 40K? Okay, but I was thinking squig, myself.

But really, I didn’t say it wasn’t, just that there was no way the two images could be of the same model.

Are you implying that being a Squid and being a Squig are mutually exclusive.

I would love a new range of squidsquigs.

We saw them already in Force Awakens. Han Solo had some as cargo on his big freighter.

Backpack Squig for new Catachans is my guess.

Looks like either Guard or GSC to me. Looks too clean to me to be Ork, especially with the existing bombs/mines.

Yup, that's not a Tanbkbusta bomb, it's too small. I'd guess AM, I get a Catachan feel from this.

Finally the long overdue Guard revamp. All Cadian models get replaced with ratlings.

Which is also the same as the demo charge that Forge World has been selling for years as part of the Cadian Respirator upgrade kit.

There's also the muzzle of a laspistol on the side. Interesting that it looks like there's a spool of heavy wire and the like.

Gosh I wonder if the pack with the bomb and the wire goes with the arm with the detonator we saw like 2 weeks back.

My immediate thought was ratlings. But the bag has got a bit of a saddlebag feel to it... maybe finally getting new rough riders!

That backpack design is the same as that on Genestealer Cult heavy weapon neophytes.

I'd wager it's the same model as the detonator hand we saw earlier.

So either a character or a unit of mine layers/saboteurs.

Two possibilities on that one.

1) Genestealer cult.

2) Limited Edition Guard character. Because no way will GW add a new kit or upgrade a kit in the Guard line.

I'd love it to be guard but based on the fact we've seen a potential other GSC rumour engine already? Probably them.

Except the new Ratlings are the same size as current Cadians...

So, Rumour Engine stuff solved after two days of 'Reveals':
- Kragnos' shield that we already knew about
Spoiler:

- lil' lizard on Kragnos' base
Spoiler:

- Sister's mace, also not that surprising
Spoiler:

- Hagiolater's book and possibly back
Spoiler:

Anything else? That's not that much, isn't it? Given the many other either really obvious (Chaos, something Imperial) or obscure (the brootal pole arms) Rumour Engine images ... guess second 40k day will solve some orky stuff, maybe surprise AOS 3.0 on Saturday with a new Destruction army that solves the kinda feral weaponry?
