I wouldn't get too excited. The James Workshop video also talks about the extravagent community site and lavish facebook(or something else) group pages. I think it's just the marketing department catch phrases for this year, and not a subtle clue. GW does not do "Subtle" gives a sideways glance over towards Logan Grimnar on his sleigh

Stimulating, extravagant & cacophony are obviously intentional Slaaneshi references. Probably just placed there in line with Eldar theme, although I suppose it's possible that the vanilla CSM in the battle box could be painted up as EC, unlikely as that may be.

I dunno. Nothing about this seems Slaaneshi. Nothing they've shown so far points towards it.

I’d rather Fulgrim, but the correct to this point rumours are pointing to World Eaters next. Which is the main reason I don’t think these Slaanesh hints actually mean anything in particular.

If we’re taking the rumours as confirmation then no, I don’t think they’re confirmed for next year. But the rumours make no mention of Emperors Children and Fulgrim, so Angron is still coming first. There’s nothing to suggest a Primarch will come with the CSM wave next year when the 2 so far have come with their Legions, not CSM in general.

Frankly, I'm still skeptical of the EC becoming a separate army anytime soon. I could easily see Fulgrim being released next year with a Noise Marine kit or two and GW calling it good there.

That's a really odd Ranger.

The fact the Advent image has slowly been corrupted with chaos and is turning purple/pink with gold trim is pretty much on the nose for Emperor's Children full release.

Perhaps an Eldar + Emp Children campaign box with all new models for both sides like Shadowspear.

It really reminds me of the Chaos Lord from Dark Vengeance, actually.

We don't exactly have a generic Chaos Lord mini, don't we? The closest we have is a Black Legion model, recycled from Blackstone Fortress. Everything else is either Resin and legion specific, Resin and ancient, or a Terminator lord.

Yes, we have a model recycled from Blackstone Fortress...literally in the webstore as "Chaos Lord".

A head. Helmeted? Unhelmeted? Headpiece of a staff? Could be anything. Probably a helmet though, if I had to make a choice.

You're being way too negative here. If Logan Claus wasn't subtle, he'd wear a Santa hat.

But yeah, of course if you like Slaanesh, you don't get excited about anything until a Slaanesh release actually comes to pass. That's just how GW treats Slaanesh.
