What happened to the Exalted Chaos Champion? The Stormcast was meant to be released forever ago, but I thought the necron lord and chaos champion debuted at the same time. I guess I'll save money, since I only want one of the two made-to-order models.

Do you mean Helga Clovenhorn who was an exclusive model for opening of the Warhammer Store & Café in Los Angeles? I guess they made the decision to release Dacian Anvil (who I can't find when or if he was previously released) and Hasmoteph the Resplendent instead.

It looks like she and the Necron figures are also going available at the three US tournaments. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/05/21/1-us-open-series-3-beautiful-locations-6-grand-tournaments-all-the-gaming-bliss/

Looks and feels as though the AoS sculpts are a bit of fun for GW's artists. The Ork turkey is no exception, a beaut of a model, bravo!

Note that Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork will most definitely be a Unique model and the alternate build is a Killaboss.

Personally, I totally want that Aspiring Champion. I'm just not willing to travel to Los Angeles to get her.

Not seen the model in person but from the website and other images the Stardrake looks good. Between the Drake and the Tauralon I don't see why they need another large monster when they both look like they can take this new bird quite easily.

Same reason why Repulsors and Gladiators exist for Space Marines.

Do Mehreens really need BOTH the Repulsive and the Gladiator, in addition to the Predator? Also, the Repulsive and Gladiator are two different models, they just look similar because everything Primaris looks the same.

I like it well enough, but dislike that it looks like no matter the build you go for, it is on the exact same tree, with the same corpse. I suppose I doubt people will be fielding 2 or 3 of these in an army, but even in the warcom video, it just looks like too similar. I'd honestly just rather it have both feet on the ground so that the player can decide how they want the model based, as the default is now "on a tree stump".

I was referring to the Repulsor as a replacement for the Land Raider, thankyouverymuch.

Oh my word, I didn't realise that was the intention for that model. It would be a crime against wargames if they phased out the legendary landraider for those things.

Take that 40k smack talk to some other topic, thank you.

So anyway, I was expecting some avian type wyvern ('cause orcs and wyverns) but instead I got greeted by giant vulture and it actually looks cool. There is just so many options coming up for Kruelboyz and there is likely some thing we haven't seen yet.

i like the vulture, i dont like the massive helmet the warboss version got saddled with. I guess it'll just skip on the ground instead of flying..

I think the helmet horns are a nod to the original Wyvern.

When you remember that vultures are dinosaurs and those guys are massive af.

I simply love 'em. The killaboss one is a big reference to the warbosses on wyverns.

It even looks a lot like a tauren druid in epic flying form.

I can't believe I am liking this models this much.

Only Lizards and Tau have had this level of appeal to me before, and I am barely able to balance both, I can't even...

I can only hope that the draconiths that have been teased and rumored are just as epic on the Stormcast side. I'm currently working on an all dracoth/dragon stormcast army and I need more!!

Thanks guys! I much prefer the webstore feature to fiddling around with a video like that, but it's better than nothing.

I've seen it in person and wasn't impressed. Just my opinion, of course, but while it's bigger and beefier than the old serpentine dragons and that's a direction I like, I didn't find the pose and specific details inspiring. For reference, I'd put down Skyrim dragons as my ideal aesthetic.

Ah, okay.

While I see little point in another stormcast monster, I'm still curious to see what they have on offer nonetheless. Would laugh if its a giant Gryph Hound!

I mean, the point would be to give us a neat dragon with a rider with the new proportions, which is all the justification I need.

But yeah, Sigmarines are a pretty extensive range and don't necessarily need expansion. But they were bound to get it anyway and with the altered aesthetic we are basically starting from scratch, so it stands to reason that we'll eventually see every kind of unit made of new and improved models.

Giant Gryph-hound? Truth be told I think the little one that comes with the Silver Tower priest is the cutest one and I doubt going up in size actually helps the main selling point of Gryph-hounds. Just saying.

Honestly, I'm expecting a new Stormcat Eternal riding dragon next monday.

The last Broken Realm story about seraphons having draconith eggs hatching in their space ships and "waiting for the right allies to go with" was a bit too obvious about that.

So, it's a bit weird to me that the kruleboy release is mostly monsters. Like I get that its the current push, but, feels a bit much.
