Found this (the rune on his R chest is confirmed to be Crimson Hunter, and R thigh to be Swooping Hawk, and even a previously hidden Shining Spear rune on his waist belt), and less of a topknot for all you topknot haters:

For me, original head and spear (although I like the recently leaked head option too, but not the bare one)

Not a huge fan of this spear or head option, but its cool that you have the option. A part of me was hoping that one of these alternate builds wouldn't have the flames on them and that they'd be optional, but that was a very long shot in the dark.

Well, there's the spear. I believe there's so money that needs to change hands now.

Not sure about that other helmet option. It looks pretty good, but the traditionalist in me will likely steer me towards the full monty with glorious top knot.

The shape of the unknown on the L thigh is suggestive of Dire Avenger.

I note they have reproduced the same runes on the sword version of the Wailing Doom as the old Avatar (as opposed to random new runes), only now the runes are negative relief rather than raised bas relief.

Just give me all the Eldar and stop playing. Luckily not spending on much else right now.

Yes, but there are two bare below the triangle, so it must be the alternative rune and not the standard rune with a single bar.

Either data mining or someone in GW decided to risk their job to take a photo of a reveal that is happening in under 24 hours. It's probably easier to find the leaks for the avatar, as we know its coming. Back in the day, a similar method was used to "predict" what GW was going to be revealing

I propose to call the 3 different heads variants the "Classic", the "Drizzt", and the "Ares".

So far from all Eldar updates the rangers on foot are the best minis.

It looks like it can be both thrust like a spear and swept like a glaive.

I'm planning on cutting off the spear head, and replacing it with the blade of the sword. I think it'll work pretty well and if I mess up, I have the axe hand as back up

I like the variant with the spear, not really sold on the head of the axe wielding Avatar.

For some reason I can’t unsee the Primaris Marines styled knee armour.

Did a pixel count on the pic from warcom: 80 mm base, 120 mm tall avatar.
