Do they have a free shipping threshold? Otherwise, that cost of shipping only makes sense for large enough orders that the difference in UK pricing to US pricing more than makes you for it.

Or if you are getting the custom Little Big Man Studios transfers.

You can also get Victrix from Michigan Toy Soldier company stateside, but do not expect it to be much cheaper. There is one other distributor that escapes me at the moment.

After pricing out a Persian army of Unarmored Infantry, Armored Infantry, 2 Light Cavalry, 1 Heavy Cavalry, and box of archers with 4 transfers..... it made just as much sense to order direct from Victrix.

One of boxes, it might make more sense to order Michigan Toy Soldier company instead.

There is one other US Distributor I have used, but there name is escaping me at the moment. Both of them got me what I was looking for.

Brigade Games?

I've used them a few times to get stuff shipped in the US.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I got the 60 pack of Vikings for about $60 with shipping thanks to eBay. Which I considered a good deal still.

Victrix is now shipping their Ancient Horse Archers which are good for Scythians, Parthians, Medes, and other similar folks.

$31 USD for 12 in a set. Similar to their other cavalry lines.

Hello everyone,

I saw on IG that Victrix is doing 20% off miniatures related to the Punic Wars ranges.

This includes their Republican Romans, Carthaginians, Gauls, Numidians, Iberians, and Samnites.

I am excited by this as now I can build out my Wars of the Republic forces! I had been considering doing this, and this might be the impetus I needed.

Picked up their Vikings on a Black Friday sale from Michigan Toy. They look great. I was going to use them for MESBG but may also use them for Trench Crusade too.

Aren't Victrix minis too big in comparison to MESBG?

Fear not... There should be at least two more sales by my count given the historical basis.

Yeah, they tend to have 20% of sales on the regular.

That is how I got the Anglo-Saxon army I am currently working on.

Based on my experience no, especially considering the inconsistencies within the MESBG range itself.

Two things of note.

1. Victrix bought out Little Big Man studios for transfers. They currently make transfers for more than just Victrix models, so interesting to see if that continues.

2. Islamic cavalry are on pre-order

The article link in question

Not that it super matters to me, but I'm puzzled about the order of operations, and I just like knowing these little fun facts.

"As many of you know, Steve from Little Big Men Studios founded Victrix with Julian in 2008, officially leaving the business in 2014 to focus on building LBMS into the go-to brand for shield and flag transfers. Steve is the mastermind behind the design of Victrix miniatures. Over the past 10 years he has continued to research and conceptualise every Victrix set. He also manages our team of sculptors, at the same time as running LBMS, where he designs and produces (by hand) every sheet of transfers that’s leaves the shelf.

As of January 2025, Victrix will take over the production of the LBMS transfers, and Steve will officially join Victrix as Head of Design. The impact on both businesses will be incredibly positive."

So Stephen had LBMS, got together with Julian to found Victrix but then he left to go back to LBMS in 2014, but also worked for Victrix? Maybe they mean he left has one of the owners and then hired on as staff or management or what have you.

In any case, super glad the cav are releasing - I'm hoping that kitbashing them and the inf along with Norman/Crusader stuff will let me pull of a more mixed early Andalusian look, which is what I'd like to aim for with my Saga "Moors" so I can backport them via the Old Friends New Enemies section of AoC to fight off some Viking raids etc.

28mm WW2 isn't my thing but I imagine it'll be quite good for them (the Perry desert stuff still holds up and Warlord's doing nicer resculpts, but Victrix style is VERY good) and in any case I'm glad they're still going to do more Dark Age and Ancients stuff.

Although... between this recent wave of Gunpowder With a Twist ala Last War and Silver Bayonet etc. I could probably talk myself into doing something with WW2 and Napoleonics.

"In this video im going to paint up some 'Rohan' miniatures, using official Games Workshop Middle Earth Rohan as well as some Victrix Saxons for a Rohan adjacent look, and then compare them from a painting and cost point of view."

Sound is a bit rough at the start but does improve.

Victrix releases new things all the time but this release has a bit more fantasy appeal than usual.

I like the stalls.

I could not find a list of US retailers.
I would love to buy some of the Pillage products, they seem great for SAGA.
There doesn't seem to be an online store that is US based that carries them, that stocks a decent amount of the range.

Check out Badger Games or their physical store Old Guard Games in Wisconsin.
