Thats not accurate. The glaive doesn't have a hull mounted demolisher cannon either. Its a bit more involved than just swapping the turret.

Yeah, I'll be honest the marine bundle is the least enticing. Leviathans are cool, but I feel like everyone probably has one already since they're an iconic dread.

Maybe we'll see Mk II or III battleforces with something different later.

The discount is deep enough that if you need 2/3 of the box, you might as well, tho. Tho Auxilia isn't amazing either because it has only all the bad Russ turrets.

Overall, if a well meaning relative or significant other, baffled at all the kits got me any of these as a pressie (and Christmas is coming up fast!) I can’t say I’d be disappointed, or that they wouldn’t see use.

Marine one does benefit from also coming with Heavy Bolters. So even if, like myself, you’ve a plenitude of more basic Infantry? That’s two heavy squads for you right there.

Not sure if you’d be headed into false economy buying another heavy weapon or special weapon set though?

I do wish the Auxilia box had the *other* Leman Russ in it instead, as I think SA players already got plenty of them from the battleforce box that was released last edition, but if you're new to the game or just getting started with the faction its a perfectly fine option.

I too have quite the backlog, with much the same root cause. From memory it’s a Kratos, a Leviathan, two boxes of Saturnine less a Dread which is already built, a second set of Saturnine alternative weapons, another box of MkVI to use up existing Special/Heavy Weapons.

Engineer painstakingly explains to military command that templates are placed from the model's hull, not the gun muzzle, in this edition, so the flame never passes the viewport

They are the windshield wipers of super heavy world. Random cultist or xenos climbing on the hull and blocking your view? Foosh! Problem solved. Now you can see where you are going. Also double as secondary headlights. Too dark to see? Light it up!

I've still got a bunch of those old style jump packs in metal. I wonder if they would fit.

Ooh, I didn't notice that the Space Marine Combat Patrol comes with a Heavy Weapon upgrade sprue.

what I want to know about the Fellblade is: will the sponson sprue be a separate thing that we can buy? I want laser destroyers for my Spartan but I don't particularly want to buy a whole Fellblade for that. Especially if I also want them for the Fellblade too...
