Those Saturnine command squads are....interesting
Apparently, the Libers are for puls units.
While the secondary books are for converting units

I like mine (DG) as well. The only "Tactical" Inductii that keep Fury of the Legion, they ignore panic from 25% casualties, and can have a few special weapons. Still -1 Line like all Inductii, but they stick to an objective longer and they can project status effects at 24" (rotor cannon!) which is pretty sweet for a Troops choice. Overall probably another improvement over 2.0, which was plagued by many overcomplicated/broken/useless Inductii, now it looks like mostly satisfying sidegrades, while ensuring you still take core Troops at least in Prime Slots.

So basically rookie marines.
I suppose MKIVs would be ideal for these chaps, with the old guard being a mix of the older MKIIs and MKIIIs.

I know they already had it in 2E, but Iron Hands Inductii spamming phosphex bombs feels like a wonderful alternative to the regular Tactical Squads. I don't even care about the Medic bits, I just want that delicious Panic(3) delivered with a disembark.
Poor Word Bearers though, it seems that someone on the 3E rules team has an axe to grind.

Depends on the Legion. The Inductii didn't come into existence until the height of the Heresy, when all the Legions desperately needed reinforcements, so all of the armor marks were in use by then. For the more well equipped, Mk VI isn't unreasonable, and for the more desperate Legions Mk V suits would be appropriate.

I think I’d want to use a specific Mark of armour for any Inductii.
Don’t have any in mind in particular. But as ever, I do like my Visually Distinctive on the board.

I'm thinking it might even be reasonable to have mixed armour in units of Inductii. They are after all the first half-step toward the "modern" kludge that is the standard Space Marine of 40K. Like, they might have refined the hypno-indoctrination a bit but they're still using the "fast" method in the grimmer, darker future.

Iirc the lore for the inductii in 2e spelled out how many of them were equipped, often based on the whims of their primarch. Some legions treated them as expendable bodies and they got the woest stuff and leftovers, others were given the best gear available to enhance their chances of survival, etc.

Contrast paints make skin real easy to get solid results. You still need to paint the eyes, which suck as always. But the skin is not so bad.

Eyes are easy if every Marine is caught in the moment he blinks.

If I’m going without helmets I try to pic the bare heads with a bionic eye/visor/targeter. Painting one eye, while still irritating, is much easier then two. As you don’t need to worry about them lookin in the same direction.

And if you do need to paint both eyes, if you get them looking crazy/drunk, that’s on brand for pirates! Wins all around.

I've noticed that the description on the GW site says that the MKII Assault kit can build two Sergeants?
Does this mean that a unit of Assault marines can be units of 5?

In the Libers only the Praetorian one. It has master-crafted armour, but as I doubt they'll ever release neutral special kits with that for all armour marks, this kit should be used for them (maybe with fancy helmets and a slightly different paintjob).

The remaining Sicaran variants all show “Sold Out Online”.

Glaive will just be a turret sprue swap, falchion will need to replace the turret sprue and top hull sprue with a casemate.
