From the article.
Looks like you assemble a plastic Kill Team board if you get all of the next year's 160€ boxes

This all sounds good for the first box, but once every other box becomes "Old models + new hat sprue!" it might become less exciting.

Well I loved most of it.
My first impressions were that the Nurgle guys for warcry are probably my least favourite element of the release today, although looking back at the models I think its just the stilts and wooden armour that I dislike. I also wish there was a bit more character in the 'juves' for the hashut warband, but otherwise I think everything else is great. In particular the more veteran members of the hashut band are really characterful.
I've never had a blood bowl team before, but I have to say that the Amazons are really appealing. The scuplts look excellent and fairly easy to convert for a few extra poses and head-swapping options to create a slightly more varied team.
Vampire hunters are brilliant. A plus and I can't fault them. IMO they're the best looking band since (ironically) the vampires.
This is an actual interesting Kill team box. After the initial launch it feels like they've been phoning in the other releases, particularly the Tau and marines. The novitiates were an incredibly odd choice and the corsairs missed the mark for me. This release however looks the equal of the launch set with the orks and Krieg. I'm excited to see more.
EDIT - I forgot to mention the oiled up beefcake on a bike. Its a great standalone model. I imagine you'll want a few for your gang though, so I hope there are a few more options in the kit or its going to get a bit stale when you duplicate it.

That is 100% what will happen. The zone mortalis/space hulk terrain is the hook. The kill teams will be existing units. New hats if we're lucky.

The second box may be where we get the Kasrkin released, as they also look to be based like these two warbands. But yeah...the first box sounds really appealing....really hoping you don't need to buy each quarterly release to complete a full 22x30 of terrain.

Oh, hey, forgot about this.
Warcry- that's a lot of character in those models, but... they look annoying to paint and I don't like the character. Terrain is nice and nifty, but an overly specific niche.
I don't understand the last picture at all, where the ground is just stacked up and badly balanced on other terrain
Necromunda- sure. That might as well happen.
Blood Bowl- not my game. Models are fine, I guess, if you like twins.
Underworlds- like the headsman, love the crossbowman... right up until the bomb on the quarrel, and the girl one is good right up until the hairdo. The leader and dogs are just kind of fine.
Love that they opted for plain and practical rather than bling.
Kill Team- Oh. The one that's really interesting is... not a full preview. Like the bits I see, and the idea of the terrain, but... I'll be much more enthused if the Imperial Navy had an army for these to be a part of (or better than another new army, if the Guard had a marine contingent that could just be a thing).
Kroot are an interesting choice of enemy. Not sure if its good or bad interesting, though.

Overall, I think it was a good preview.
I'm not interested in Fantasy, but the Rotmire Creed and the Witch Hunters are fine models that will find their way into 40k/KT/Necromunda.
The Goliath bike isn't my stein of ale, but I guess Ork, CSM and certain SM chapter players will use it.
Showing only parts of the KT box... well, they need something for their daily news and it' not like it's for pre-oder this week. The models shown are good. I skipped the last two boxes, but I'm looking forward to this.

I just had a realization about the amazons that might've ruined them. If those one footed poses don't have tabs that go into the base, then the contact point to glue these will be even worse than the wood elf catchers and norse runners. These minis should be gaming pieces, not just for show. So they need to be durable and in BB the miniatures are constantly being handled.

You will in all likelihood be able to buy the terrain individually three months after the boxed set, but going by recent precedent you'll pay the same for the terrain as you would for the whole box.
I guess board coverage won't be a problem if you stick with a single box as these are meant to work as standalone expansions, but I fully expect to see differently themed space hulk sections in each box, so if you want variety on your board you won't get around investing in more.
It's kind of cool to get a full space hulk themed terrain set, but it's not going to be cheap if you're a terrain enthusiast and in it for that, first and foremost.

They look rather bulky to me with the usual large feet GW models tend to have. Maybe that's just the sizable pictures and it will feel different at actual scale. I don't expect them to be fragile if glued with good plastic cement, though.
At first I wasn't really interested in the team, but with a bit of conversion and suitable paintjob going full Rio carnival on them would look cool. I might actually have to get a box.

I'm liking the Goliath bike a lot, and I don't think anyone was expecting Imperial Navy vs Kroot as the space hulk Kill Team factions, but the most impressive reveal for me have to be the new Warcry faction. It's no secret I've always reviled the Nurgle aesthetic as being more about comical tentacles and ruptured pusbag stomachs split open to reveal nests of throbbing guts, so GW making a group of models that look diseased and unwell in a much more subtle and restrained way was a positive surprise.

Re Amazon team
I didn't have any issues with my warcry corvus cabal models and they've got very little contact with the base for some of the models. You should just need to use a good plastic glue.

Can someone tell me what the "Knight Questoris" is supposed to be? We already had Canis Rex, which you could use to build all Imperials, and this new kit lets you build a Despoiler too, what are they adding to the kit to make this possible?
/Edit - I just looked up Despoiler - it's this https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/knight-despoiler-2022 ie Canis rex kit. I am vert confused about this new release. What are they adding to this kit to differentiate it from Canis Rex?

There's no reason at all to announce this as a new release if they're changing the packaging and adding some sort of data sheet. All of this could have been done w/o any announcement, nobody would have even noticed.

That's a really good point. I knew I liked those new Nurgle Cultist types but couldn't really put my finger on why. I think you hit the nail on the head there, they look diseased and legitimately creepy. GW usually makes Nurgle models way too over the top and they end up looking comical - but these guys look genuinely unnerving.

Politely disagree. The Knight Variants now being a single kit (I think it’s now a single kit?) helps prevent folk buying the old one, thinking it contains All The Sprues, getting home and finding nope. It’s a relic of yesteryear.

It's been the whole kit for ages. It's the Canis Rex, everything they're including in this kit is included in that kit, literally all of it. "Buying the old one" is not a thing, there is no old one, the old one is this one that they've announced here. It's the same thing.
