I saw this today, looking for something else. I'm sold, for at least one or two.
They have quite the selection in Wave 4. The Ogryn, Vet Guardman, and Orks are of note. Pictures attached for effect.
Good luck in your search.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

The proportions on the guardsmen are WAY off.
Nothing at all like GW Cadians.
I like them!

I wonder, could these 'Veteran guardsman' foreshadow the apperance of the new Cadian models we've seen in a few blurry pictures (I'm thinking of the image that revealed Angron).

~$25 USD for the regular figures, ~$40 USD for the larger "deluxe" figures.

So the winged skull plaque hangs from a chain on the guardsman's chest, like a medallion? That must be annoying in combat!

well there is historical precedent, although they were on military police rather than intentional front line troops (although they were in action with them on especially again partisans)

That would make sense in this case then, as they're basically acting as MPs rather than actual combat troops.

Do you know which category these particular figures fall under?

If memory serves, they were explained away as the officers refractor fields.

Like most McFarlane figures, they're considered "Collector's Figures", so stores tend to have them where they keep their Funkos. You can also get them on pre-order now at places like BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth.
