I bought a Bayard, seems decent value compared to many 40K character models (since it's two guys instead of one and can be bought third party).

I thought it started at 8 EST, not 9, so Im very very sad.

The good news is that ideally I can hit up my FLGS today, buy a Bayard and get a free cursed city model

The rambling intros are useful for them to make sure everything is working and give people time to log in and get in. Those 15mins are setting things up before the main show and event begins so that everyone is on board; rather htan getting started at 2pm and trying to start with amazing videos and having connection problems, audio or other issues or just not having everyone logged in at once (not to mention a surge of users appearing all at once is just the thing to make any streaming service servers got a little nutter for a few moments)

That's untrue, they can set everything up off-air, as is standard with Twitch (the site has been around since circa 2010 and almost all other broadcasters know how to use it) but I've argued this before so I won't bother to do so again.

Cadian's look great. Nice update, superior models that remain faithful to the originals. That Sentinel has the same aesthetic as the original with that cockpit and legs too, different to the potato pic version we saw.

I guess the leaker saw that one picture that did get leaked and thought that was all Cadians were getting.

Really accurate.

Liking the field artillery. Feels like filling a gap I’d never really noticed before. Mind you, I’ve never played Guard so my opinion there is frankly worthless.

Field Artillery looks great.

Glad to see all the people saying HW Teams were going away were full of it.

Nice to see the HW squad is a straight glow-up of the existing one.

And no doubt a price increase but welcome to GW.

Commissar is…dull. It’s a nice sculpt, but seems more like a kit bash.

So far everything is a major improvement and looks great - besides the Commissar, which is a staggeringly boring sculpt.

Scout Sentinel is really great! Saw option will be a must for Catachans
