I'm glad the Anvil of Doom is a decent price, though I kinda regret buying one off ebay back during the pandemic. Oh well.

I wonder if the old metal thanes will be grouped together like how they did the engineers

Probably a reason why High Elves will be towards the end of the releases while they retool the IoB kit.

I like how they've broken down the minis. You can buy as many ranks as you want. I don't have any interest in this particular unit, but I could imagine wanting to buy some other Regiments of Renown in future MTO releases.

...so i guess Ogdruz is never going to get released? I've said it before and I'll say it again: the release schedule for this game makes 0 sense...

Shame too, since I personally find him a much, much, much nicer model than the Black Orc that was already released.

Actually the black orc bigboss is much better in the flesh. Ogdruz is a great looking model though. The familiar less so though.

Love the look of those guys! Looks armoured enough to use as Ironbreakers I think, I intend to do that with those fellas!

Fantasy armies - Retired (Tomb Kings, Vampires, Empire, Chaos Warriors/Daemons, Dark Elves)

Tyranids army - Ever evolving, but about 10k pts
Custodes - 3,500pts (Fully painted yay!)
Thousand Sons - 4,000 pts
Eldar - 3,000pts

Can remember that in a 1990s White Dwarf, they adviced them as Ironbreakers...

Would be nice when that 6.Edition Black Orc Warboss could be a regulary release and not MtO.

Now I hope The Empire is the next faction...

I don't know how much it qualifies as a wave, but the Bretonnian foot knights came later than the main release, and they're both new and a plastic kit.

Could they not just have rounded out the command group with a 5th standard miniature to make regiment building easier?

Since the days of blister packs, command has always come with one fewer model than regular bods, precisely to make regiment building more awkward.

I think it's the one from the Miners accessory sprue? The Skull Pass pony didn't have the gun/drill-thing.

So you get 2 choppers in the kit?

If the price is right it might be worth it

I'm not sure why the cart is shown separate when it's on the miner sprue, you get one pony and cart per 5 dudes.

Is it a separate unit in ToW? Maybe for a theme list in the Journal?

Yea, it's a separate unit in the journal. It hands out explosives for any unit to use.

So the box of 20 miners would have 4 carts as well?

Whelp, it'll be expensive but I guess I can chase down 10 Pit Ponies for that DOW unit I wanted to make. I'm sure I can't find 10 baggage carts at all, let alone at a sane price.

In January we expanded our fantasy offer with the return of Warhammer: The Old World (first launched in the 1980s). Sales suggest that it is appealing to both new and veteran hobbyists alike. As with everything we do, we have grand plans for the years ahead.

From GW's financial year report. I know that it's just PR speak but it's positive for the future of the game. Just releasing another 5 re-released factions doesn't say 'grand' to me.
