That's what I think of every time I read her name. Sadly in the artwork her eyes aren't green, they're glowing blue. If Marienburg doesn't have an enclave known as 'Little Cathay' mentioned in the journal I'll be very disappointed.

I recall most of the hate for the state troopers was the oversized feathers and general OTT level of the design.

At the time I think most fans appreciated the originals for their more historical understated look, so when they were more fantasy-ised with that redo it moved them further from the historical aspect grognards liked.

Similar thing happened with Bretonnians when they were progressed from french knights and peasants to super fantasy lady of the lake magic guys and fanatical toothless dirt farmers.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought of this! Now we need Kurt Russell in The Old World. Maybe driving an Empire War Wagon?

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

I'm glad to see that they're parting out the Cathay stuff. Poppa needs an(other) ogre hauler!

New Cathay army of Infamy rules reviewed by the Square Based guys.

Slightly fewer options for taking balloons / sentinels in this list but you get access to empire heroes and a few infantry and fast cavalry units (all as mercenaries), plus some combat buffs. Your mercs also lose the misbehaving rule, so they're more dependable. I think that unless you're going balls to the wall mega balloons (which is expensive and won't win you any friends) this seems like its just a better list.

There's also a few great magic items available to both the army of infamy and grand army.

Nope none of that it's actually the orc warboss threatening Bretonnia. What is new though is that i believe that this is the first true confirmation that it is in fact the same Warboss that terrorised Bretonnia 30 years (?) earlier and that was routed bij Louen back then.
