I am tempted by the Rock Lobber....but I'm still annoyed I haven't received my Empire Halberdiers I ordered last year. I know they say allow for 180 days but COME ON!

So love the old Rock Lobba. Especially the guy with the wind flag that everyone is ignoring.

You can do a little research to find out which edition buddy, I believe in you.

That was me doing a little research.

I directly asked someone who supposedly knows.

Yeah, and I think you know the answer because you essentially stated it in your reply, didn't you?

I was thinking of 1st and 2nd edition, though I think you could argue the style of army in Realms of Chaos was also very much a small warband and not an entire army of beastmen as we have now, which is what I was also thinking of - your chaos warband would be a mix of different stuff, and probably not entirely made of beastmen like a modern beastmen army.

Hope that answers your weirdly snarky question.

I don't collect O&G but I definitely want those Black Orcs, been eyeing those version for so long, would be great to get those finally!

It's funny. I have 8 of the plastic ones from that era that I can't stomach and can't seem to get rid of.

Looking for dice from the new AOS boxed set and Dark Imperium on the cheap. Let me know if you can help.

If I end up getting the metal ones, I'll definitely be on the lookout for some plastic ones to add to them So if you want to get rid of them, I could bite

Fantasy armies - Retired (Tomb Kings, Vampires, Empire, Chaos Warriors/Daemons, Dark Elves)

Tyranids army - Ever evolving, but about 10k pts
Custodes - 3,500pts (Fully painted yay!)
Thousand Sons - 4,000 pts

This gives me hope we'll see the line up of Kev Adams Night Gobilins, Forest Goblins and regular Goblins appear

While the Orcs don't do much for me and I have some Kev NGs, I would LOVE an MTO for the Forest Gobbos.

Forgive this question if it seems silly or getting off point but was there ever an edition where Forest Gobbos had rules?

If not, it'd be cool to see them fleshed out in Old World and get rules to go along with the other Gobbos. More options would always be nice.

ToW armies I own:
Empire: 10,000+
Chaos Legions: DoC- 10,000+; WoC- 7,500+; Beastmen- 2,500+; Chaos Dwarves- 3,500+
Unaligned: Ogres- 2,500; Tomb Kings- 3,000
Hotek: Dark Elves- 7,500+; High Elves- 2,500
40k armies I own:
CSM- 25,000+

They had in 5th edition - if only technically.

They were in terms of rules almost completely identical to regular Goblins. The only difference I could find was that Forest Goblin characters could ride on a giant spider, while the regular equivalent could ride giant wolves. Everything else seems to be 100% the same for stats, points and rules.

Basicaly minimal effort to give you official "special" rules for the models produced at the time.

You have the same options in TOW, and I always suggest having a look at Shieldwolf Miniatures' Forest Goblin Infantry - hard plastic and look great next to GWs Spider Riders.

They also had rules in the 6th edition Ravening Hordes booklet(the main difference was that they couldn't take armor like regular Goblins) and maybe the Goblin Subspecies WD article, I'd have to double check that one.
