Could definitely see it being a small team of once proficient healers given an ironic punishment by Nagash for delaying his claim on countless souls.

I'd assume Katakros-diorama style, if we go with it being a new character for a Dawnbringers box, but I'm always down for special units like Gobbapalooza or the Freeguild Command Corps

Yea yea ironic flanderized Nighthaunt murder squad sounds likely.

But remember they have to have been Bad Men to end up as an ironic flanderized Nighthaunt murder squad, so something like doctors who secretly intentionally killed patients, or who maybe extorted patients' families for money, or poisoned water supplies to then sell antidotes, etc.

Dreadscythe Harridans didn't do anything to get cursed into murderghosts.

Something feels off about undead dealing with poison. But the pics sure look ghastly in nature.

Maybe it’s a nighthaunt Festus? A scientist or surgeon that Nagash curses to find ways to kill people. Could be a named character or a generic hero

With the way these rumours are turning out, I'm now expecting an Underworlds Warband of these weird spindly arms.

Some sort of nurgle sorcerer with a retinue of chemists working up new poisons and diseases.

I'm still hopeful that these pics get a reveal on Boxing Day like the ones last year. It would be frustrating if these were just more frequent rumor engine photos with an unknown reveal date.

EDIT: Hmmmm..., I wonder if this is also related to all the potions.

Early warcry had elves and dwarfs mixed in the gangs.
Would be a real treat to see a gang made up of a skaven, a spook, a nurgle herald, a, uh, evil vampire chemist vorking together in an unholy alliance.

Or how about a warhammer quest, just reversed so you play the morally dubious guys trying to break in to a human/stormcast stronghold

They’re using the DA as an excuse to finally make a chaplain dreadnought in plastic, and that’s its dreadnought-scale Crozius.

Icon definitely feels like a vehicle piece. Note that the wings are furled forwards, almost like a bit for a fancy pintle-mount.

Black Templar got a vehicle upgrade, so it would make sense. Maybe they’d get some ravenwing or deathwing bits as well?

Could be for an updated gothic landspeeder, whatever it is called, or part of Sammaels bike.

Except his storm bolter has DA logo with sword, and I just can't see first captain of the most ostentatious chapter (seriously, even EC only have like 1/10 of bling of these clowns) using generic Imperialis instead now when the new Deathwing are festooned with them too...

Still doubting the stormbolter?

Woop; looks like we get several at once in the latest article.
Skelly, bolter, the sheathed sword, one of the censers…

Yup. Because new "Belial" turned out to be trash

I can understand toning down excess bling on all DA terminators, who were frankly all excessive on that front, but "Belial" lost everything that was interesting about him. Less bling than regular TDA captain, tabard that lost all detail and embroidery and is now shapeless rag, loss of all interesting wargear and decorations he had (like that triple sensor array above his head), no unique plate banner, much worse sword (as much as I hate old DA spoon "swords" his arrow one was really neat), worse cape/iron halo, no badges of office/inner circle, and yes, loss of DA icons in favour of generic ones (which would be OK on regular terminators as players might want to convert these but not on frakking faction leader!), this new model is garbage. I admit I expected GW to do better. By far the worst in DA range, even old, generic primaris DA LT shows way more character than this junk

Also, funnily enough, I was the only right on obvious primaris power sword (LOL at suggestions it was Cities of Sigmar, even if you ignored obvious SM hilt/ricasso and latin writing, strap size alone indicated it wasn't human sized model) and censer here, called it was hand carried one not dangling from anything, so there
