Yeah, I'd dearly love to see both the Capitol Imperialis and the various Ordinatus.

We might see Ordinatus Minoris with a Mechanicum release...

I wanna see Li Primarchs.

They will finally have a battlefield large enough to show up for.

I'd love the mini-primarchs as well. Fulgrim transformed in the big demon is getting bought if they do. Even buy some marines to go with him.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

I've said this many times, Primarchs would be fantastic - much better suited to LI scale in many ways. Personally I think they'd be something better suited to FW resin than plastic at this scale (and based off the infantry models so far) but who knows!

30K and 40K are better suited to this scale.

Epic Space Marine/Titan Legions remains a blast to this day - and if GW would finally get around to (re)introducing Xenos in this scale, it would be a happy day for everyone!

A normal primarch in this scale is going to be pretty underwhelming though. They're 2 heads taller than a marine. Those marines are tiny. They'd look small on a base by themselves.

You'd probably get a primarch and their body guards on a single base, but they wouldn't stand out that much.

LI Primarchs ought to have scenic bases. The HH ones do.

Epic Warpath from Mantic is due out soon, so there will be a range of plastic minis if people want to use them. Not sure what the LI to EW scale difference is, maybe too big.

And you could give them the OP powers they deserve.

And then you could release the one model everyone has wanted since Warhammer 40k became a game: The Emperor.

scale is 10mm for EWP and 7mm for LI, but we talking Xenos here which are off-sized anyway and as there are none in LI they don't have a direct counterpart they need to fit
therefore Epic Warpath Aliens should work fine for Xenos in LI

The Primarchs, if they appear in Epic Scale should come as a set of eighteen resin tinys. Or two sets of nine, I guess, because that’s how GW rolls these days.
Anyway, all on scenic bases that interlock to form an epic battle scene that never happened.

I am sounding like a stuck record here, but regarding Xenos just play one of the previous editions. Armageddon now has a great Heresy list (which is going to be permissible in the UK tournament scene soon). The game has been playtested exhaustively, shorter playing time and you need less minis

Having a look at the Warpath stuff at Salute, I think the aliens should scale pretty well with Legions. I intend to use the Plague and Forge Father minis for Great Crusade-era battles in any case

Commanders in 2nd edition were always on Charge AND First Fire the whole time. The fact that they didn’t get it this time round made me feel they were saving it for the Primarchs.

Wacky ordinatus, Leviathans and Hellbores please. Vortex missiles so. I can use my carefully preserved dome, and the marine super heavies.

And Phantom titans and Gargants, of course.

Lets face it, the most famous scene in all of the Warhammer brand is the showdown onboard the Vengeful Spirit. Horus and the Emperor in the very duel that ended the Heresy and set in motion 40K itself.

I'm happy to give some slack for Legions as it's a new game and not even got Custodes yet, but I honestly cannot fathom how there isn't an Emperor model for 30K.

If I was a die-hard 30K player, all in with the narrative and happy to splash out for FW resin, I would demand nothing less than a scenario to playout the final battle between Horus and the Emperor.

In one of the red HH books for Custodes there are rules for whose in charge of your Custodes and the rules specifically mention The Emperor. Sadly, when they updated the rules, they removed the mention of the Emperor.

Horus vs Emperor - sounds like something to re-enact with the upcoming John Blanche 54mm duel game to me, instead of HH

Please do share this link if you manage to upload? I'm still planning on playing 1st edition Space Marine / Adeptus Titanicus with my LI minis, but could also see myself trying Armageddon rules, seeing as they are well praised by the community

If you're talking about Glyn's 30k LA 1.0 list for NetEA compatibility, Pacific, you can just plop the pdf here as an attachment. There are also Auxilia and Mechanicum lists in the making.

@tauist, welcome to E:A if you feel like having tighter mechanics and more focus on C&C issues. Less zany stuff but all round excellent battalion level action.

#ConvertEverything blog with loyalist Death Guard in true and Epic scales. Also Titans and killer robots! C&C welcome.

I would appreciate it if you could set up a new thread for it which you can signpost here, this is the News and Rumours thread for LI after all and not NetEA or other similar games.

I will link the document into the Epic New Players guide down in the sub-forum, but this is the link to the Armageddon army list in the meantime.
From what I have read it is not Epic GT tournament approved yet but will be soon, and obviously is fine for just standard games.

PS - Ingtaer if you would like to take it for a spin at some point please let me know

I have to imagine it's because, aside from that desperate last gambit at the end, the Emperor took no part in the actual war. He'd effectively retired by the time the war started, and my understanding is that he didn't even fight during the Siege until the very end.

I did wonder that myself, but by the same logic GW wouldn't have released Sauron for MESBG as he'd only fought in the opening battle of Lord of the Rings.

I was heart broken that Sauron didn't show up at the end of ROTK to rumble with Aragorn, because that would have been bloody mind blowing. Totally at odds with the source material but who would have cared if it played out to Jecht's theme from FFX.

Eh?

He fought in the War Within the Webway, and did the coolest thing in the whole series:

Spoiler:
The Emperor summoned an army of loyal Imperial dead including Ferrus Manus that took the form of blazing avatars to fight the Daemons.

If they would just release a Master of Mankind campaign book, I would be a very happy person.
