As far as I recall it looks pretty much like a new set of dice with each issue at the moment.
Given that I got 5 sets of dice with bags from Amazon last year for about the price of one issue I've not really been tempted I have to say. If they had thrown in some more regional poster maps or battlemaps it might have been worth it but not for endless sets of dice.
Its a shame, the ones with GW products can be great value whatever you think of the magazine content itself. D&DA has just been a bit meh.

Yeah, at least including acrylic or paper standees could potentially be seen as useful for newbies, but constant influx of dice really makes it a "Who is this even for?" moment.

Yeah once you've got one set of dice you don't need any more. Paper or Acrylic standees, paper maps, adventures gear and such would be far more engaging for the players and potential DMs to use.
Endless Dice just seems like a waste. Newbies won't need them; experienced players will likely want specific colours/types not random and most experienced DMs will have been gaming for years so whilst they might want random dice for their players; they likely want a higher grade of written material.

Cheers dude.
You know. Whilst still about a squillion miles from being convinced to subscribe? I’m kinda feeling the odd strategically purchases issue might be worth it. Not just for some Pretty Dice for me, but for presents for friends.
Issue 7, 8 and 10 for instance definitely qualify as Pretty Dice for me.
But it’s still a Very Odd Partwork. I’ve a complete set of the Dredd Megacollection. 90 hardback compendiums at £10 a chuck. And I’m still subscribed to the 2000ad Ultimate Collection, which presently stands at 160 of a promised 180 volume collection, which recently increased to £10.99 per issue. Those are absolutely, 100% worth the investment. They’re excellent comics with a high overall production value, including a fair few never released as TPB.
The GW ones? Not only a pocket and project friendly way for newbies to get into the game, but Significant Discount Ahoy for established players of the lucky races being covered.
This ‘un? Again, Pretty Dice Are Pretty, and possibly not available through other channels. But the whole of the thing I’m just not feeling.

I think I can find most of those on the dice shop online. Some are cheaper but you definitely save on that metal set.
Useful if you want to get spares, extra D6s etc.

Battle Systems posted some stuff on their site about how to use their terrain with some of the adventures.
Obviously, you'd buy the terrain for miniature games and other RPG adventuring, not just for a single adventure!

You can get something like this. 20 sets of dice and a bag, for £20.
So it just makes the magazine a hard sell for just dice, regardless of the magazine content.

They are doing a Black Friday deal of 50% off your first 8 issues.
So works out at £10 for your first delivery with issues 1-4 and the dice tray. (Standees, two sets of dice and a big D20 in a bag). May be worth getting and cancelling after the first delivery.
If you leave it going for a second delivery it's £36 for issues 5-10. (5, 6 and 7 are sets of dice, don't think the others are out yet).

Or you could just buy the dice you actually want from eBay for much less (money and hassle).
