so thats 92€ for the Ancient and Assault Termies together, making it around 70€ from a discounter store. Thanks!

I saw the price of the Ultramarine and immediately thought I must have missed the latest price hike, but looking at el anciano it seems like GW isn't even content to keep a plain infantry character at 35€. And I had no idea Marine character prices were all over the place these days.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

Also he's a Black Library model, and those have always been priced all over the place. I get the feeling they're not produced by the main studio (which is why they get Legends rules).

Grabbed the Ancient and TAS kit from a discounter, price including int shipping ended up 83€ (which also paid for shipping my previous orders that were on hold)
Stock has not yet sold out, so guessing the runs are a bit bigger this time around..

The only thing making me press X FOR DOUBT on that is the lack of OTT details. I would expect a GW Khorne Surgeon type thing to be DRIPPING in jaggedy blades and yes, lots more skulls.
Otherwise everything about that says legit GW model, though. Giving a Berserker Apothecary an apron to protect his armour from blood is a very GW design decision.
I've been wanting to use this quote from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns for so long:
"You don't get it, son. This isn't a mud hole. It's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon. "
Tbh, Some other forums are claiming it to be a real model... but the real question is, if it's fake, why go to all the trouble to create an ugly model?

Then again, servo arm thing does match the rumour engine
There's some really small discrepancies in both the sculpt and paintwork compared to the rumour engine. Someone has made a deliberate (and quite skilled) effort to imitate it.

Thats some high end CSI "enhance" work, well done!
That said, many claimed the original image wasn't a physical model, so at least that needle has moved a little.

I'd say the print lines are less of a smoking gun than the overall quality of detail. The leg armour lacks proper definition around the knee, the apron is a typical digital blob, the chains are blobby and don't match the current Zerker design, the torso seems lack the arm joint spacer, the spikes on the right leg look uncastable in plastic, the arms look like they belong on old plastic Marauders.
A print of a trainee project? Sure. Plastic production model? Hell no.

This is literally the same miniature as what's on the box, the very one that it's a photo of on the packaging. The way it's painted matches what you can see on the box, like the scratch highlights on the tabbard and on the inside of the helmet ears are visible in the same placeon both. I think that's a very good indicator it's a fake.

There actually seem to be a few slight differences now we've got a slightly clearer view. The lack of the grip ridges on the end of the clamp, for example.

Would be fun if they took the opportunity to make some sneaky11th edition prototype functions for us to try out and get used to without knowing its a new edition preview/playtesting.
Come to think of it, why the heck would they not do that publically?

No set of Grotmas detachments this year - instead a mix of rules, stories and painting guides for 40K and AoS.
Probably for the best since there's already a ton of detachments, and maybe it'll be an opportunity to finally give Chaos Daemons some Crusade rules.
That'd be awesome, since I'm running some demons with my Chaos Knights in our local Crusade league.

They would. In fact, they did last time around.

It's not logical perhaps but then theyd have to acknowledge a new edition exists 6+ months out. That might cool off sales and devalue any rules based releases (like fancy 500 worlds books). It's standard ignorant management tactics to try and prevent panic - pretend the obvious isn't happening so you appearance in control and everyone can enjoy "normal".

That's pretty much what the 'no force organisation chart style game' was at the end of 9th.
