Doesn't really do anything for me, bit of an odd choice for the big Christmas reveal. Interested to see his rumoured retinue unit in the new year though as that sounds like a potential source of interesting bits

Not meant to be bikes with this (though they often get mentioned as coming eventually), Command Squad and a "Hunter" squad with Huron, I believe

That's a proper Huron model, whether you like the head or not (easy switch). The metal one was, frankly, terrible and too small.

There might be two or three alternative heads anyway.

Probably unlikely, but if they are putting a renegade chapter front and centre I wonder if they might deal with the whole "the first action a chapter performs upon falling to Chaos is to trade in all their assault cannons for reaper autocannons" (and so on) issue.

Part of me wonders if he might get a detachment to allow some loyalist stuff.

I spotted that, thought it was kinda funny and just shrugged it off as "GW stuff".

Yes, but the heat shield is usually over the nozzle to protect the nozzle and dissipate heat as I understand it. Hurons at the base of the wrist is doing literally nothing.

I appreciate that it was marketing talk, but does a single special character resculpt really qualify as an "extra special" reveal these days?

If you wanted to make it "extra special", preview the additional elements you talk about showing up later.

Grotmas was definitely a letdown this year.
