looks like you didn't select all the sprues so you either need to contact them (thedamned@wargamesatlantic.com) or they'll default those 6 to (male) damneded infantry

the 5 box deal could net up to 21 free sprues

5 + 12 from stretch goals + 2 for getting a certain no backer +1 for backing in the firsr 24hrs & +1 if you were followed pre-launch)

if you dont' contact they will ship your order as just male infantry only orders are on hold unless you specifically say that's what you're after

I’ve been inundated with emails regarding pledge updates for those that have either failed to save their selections or have had issues with the pledge manager.

I’m working through them one at a time and will reply to your email once I’ve dealt with your request. Please bear with me.

My pledge is good and has all my choices, still no update on shipping.

When it was just everyone waiting I was fine but knowing other folks are getting their stuff while I got no update is a little irritating.

Same. I have 20 boxes coming... And these will likely sit in my basement for quite a while until I am back in a mindset to play with them though. But I still am anxious to get them...

Thank you for the link.. I found some cool bits to make my female damned unique... if I ever get them. The last pic will be for my rough riders... who will get some female torso conversions.

The companion set to Partisans (1): French Resistance is coming in hot! WAAWA008 Partisans (2): French Women is in tooling now!

This 30 figure set features five unique poses with a variety of weapon (and other) arms and of course a huge # of heads!

I hope they bring more 10mm "Grand Scale Battle" Settings.

After Sengoku and Fantasy, Azincourt and Seven Years War are next. - Rumors say Dark Age (Hastings 1066) or Roman Republican Era after that.

Oh boy some kind of vehicle in the latest sneak peek! Some large flat hull bits and some hydraulic gear - landing legs or ramp supports!? Generic sci-fi drop lander would sure be nice...

Could be some sort of drop pod or dropped weapon emplacement, could just be a sprue of field guns.

general consensus in the WGA official facebook group is that it's a sprue of death fields terrain.. armored barricades with fold out legs to hold them up.

we know that arena terrain has been in the works since it's been in the release schedule for most of the year.and some official plastic terrain was inevitable now that we have the deathfields ruleset being worked up.
plus the current release schedule has:"Death fields Arena Barriers" listed as "tooling complete"

Update on US shipping.
If you’ve been following the recent updates, you’ll know that we’ve encountered some issues affecting several pledges. I requested that any backers who believed their pledge was incorrect provide details, and the deadline for those submissions has now passed. Any requests received after this point will not be processed.

To correct over 100 pledges, I had to temporarily pause fulfilment in the US. I’m confident that all updates will be completed by the end of this week, with US fulfilment resuming on Monday, 17 November.

I understand how frustrating this must be. I’m personally going through and manually updating all of these pledges, so I do appreciate your patience.

Best wishes

Charlie

I can't say I'm happy waiting on a project that was already behind schedule, but I appreciate a company doing right by the backers who didn't get their pledge put in right originally.

If you had told me I'd be waiting on something I ordered in 05 2023 and that it's so delayed I've had to drop out of a couple of 30k events for late 2025/early 2026 as my army I wanted to use hasn't arrived I'd of called you mad!

I don't suppose theres anything on a more concrete UK/EU timeline as I saw nothing really indicating such in the recent Gamefound updates.

After seeing the earlier message in this forum on how it also could of been people's pledge manager not working correctly, I feel this comment is in incredibly poor taste to say of your customers.

Meh there's always the 10% of functional illiterates in every crowdfund. This includes not checking if your pledge has gone through once in 2 years despite multiple appeals to do so.

I feel it's worth mentioning that a Crowdfunding Pledge is an investment to get a thing into production, not an 'order'. Crowdfunding timelines are almost always a bit wibbly, and it's not at all unusual for projects involving physical miniatures to run a year or more behind schedule.

Mildly annoyed, but only because recent news of shipping reminded me about my order and thinking that they'd be here by now. My order has been correctly noted from the beginning so hopefully it will be here soon, but I'm not stressing.

I'd say "Welcome to the world of Crowdfunding!"

I do feel for you having to reschedule events, but it's good practice for the future to NEVER schedule anything around the arrival of a crowdfunded product.

Best to keep your expectations low, do your best to forget you ordered and enjoy the surprise when it arrives.

Yeah lesson learnt on this one. I'm excited to have my pledge arrive and will be a lot more reserved on future things.

Same. Got into crowdfunding from day 1 (Relic Knights, Bones 1, Deadzone...) and this is as good as it gets.

Well that's just not true. Some crowdfunding campaigns have realistic timelines and manage to stick to them. Some have particularly cautious estimates and even manage to deliver ahead of schedule.

Of course, if a project massively blows up beyond expectations, it's usually unlikely that the original schedule can be kept - raising a hundred times the money doesn't typically allow you to scale up physical production by the same amount. Alongside "will I get anything at all", the delivery time is one of the main gambles you take with crowdfunding over ordering a product that's in stock somewhere.

But yeah, no, some companies and persons are absolutely better at creating realistic timelines (and/or adjusted timelines following the campaign), and sticking to them. Saying it's better than the likes of Kingdom Death is a woefully low bar.

I mean... yeah? I'm not sure what people's expecting when backing a project...

Let's just say the average project is not like that ^^

And then there's the likes of RRT, of course >_>

And not everyone can be Kevin Crawford/Sine Nomine Games either.

What are some examples of KS campaigns for well known games or companies that gave a realistic timeframe and delivered on time?

I think Archon managed a couple of times, out of their two dozen campaigns. Certainly the exception.

Archon, as in the Phoenix corp of Kickstarter villain Prodos, Archon? Glad to hear they finally figured out Kickstarter, I guess.

Edit: nevermind.

Hm.... for miniatures games I'm not that sure... last I went in was the Epic Warpath one and it got late by about 5 months.

RPGs, OTOH... 2 Little Mice have always delivered about a month ahead of time (the various Household and Outgunned RPG Kickstarters), and so have all of Sine Nomine campaigns (All the "Without Number" games). Those two are pretty much a known quantity by now.

I would suspect that's because for their last few campaigns they've already had everything made and were just using the crowdfunding as an extended preorder system.

My memory is fuzzy, but I backed a few of the first Reaper Bones Kickstarters and they were pretty close to on time.

Mega Minis did a couple that delivered promptly. They were basically pre-orders for figures he had acquired and just needed the start up cash to put back in production.

I think the Ramshackle Games campaigns for "Nuclear Renaissance, Tome of Triddlins" and Space Dwarves did right. Same for the 2 Burrows and Badgers that I did.

Did several Mantic and half were late but they all delivered.

Very different companies, but they were all companies with a solid track record in minis and that I trusted.

I'm not sure that a few examples of projects that delivered on time (or just a little late, in the case of Bones) disproves the claim that it's not unusual for crowdfunding projects to run late, though.

It's worth noting as well that none of those examples include HIPS tooling (other than Mantic, which frequently runs late), which is really prone to timeline blowouts if it's being done properly.

It certainly would have been preferable for everyone involved if this particular project had run on time... but anyone backing a crowdfunding project should be keeping in mind that the estimated delivery is exactly that, and the more complex the project, the more likely that estimate will have to be revised along the way.

Definitely not what I was trying to say. I've got a pretty good track record of projects delivering close to on-time and I still expect lateness.
I also am probably an outlier and many of my on-timers were small, manageable projects from companies that have their stuff together and weren't trying anything new.
