I would absolutely love a Kroot vs Exodite kill team set.

I mean, I'd just love to finally see exodites as a force, but the visual of wild elves vs wild cannibal chickens is too good to ignore.

Much obliged for the screenshots! I woke up, went on twitch just to see "..and thats all we have time for..", and WHC is slow to update their stuff this morning, so nice that I was able to see what I missed on here

The Kroot and SA take the cake for me. Love the Hvy Sentinel, Malcador and those big Kroot monsters, now the Kroot make the T'au look old and goofy in comparison

A ranger type character would make sense, special or otherwise. I don't know if they'd double down on cavalry with a light scout unit (but I'm willing to hope)

No idea how else they'd flesh out the range, maybe a shaman shaper for some psychic presence? I guess jump troops would be interesting, but they'd be stepping on the toes of the Vespids. Are Kroot Berserkers a thing? Shock infantry would work both internally and as a complement to Tau. Not that I'm bored of what we've just seen, but I'm very curious about what's next

Kroot hound pack with beastmaster? Kroot sniper squad? Krootox rampagers may be replacing the classic knarloc riders, but could we see the return of the Great Knarloc?

Tau have gained a ton of new suits, and now the kroot part of the range is evolved. After this, it's time for the vespid and to finally remaster the 3rd/4th tanks

They got Khainite Shadowstalkers with models from Warcry. I don't count the Underworlds band, as they're unique.

Completely forgot about Kroot Hounds and Knarlocs, somehow. Makes far more sense than anything I would've wishlisted in the meantime

I’m so glad I was wrong about Kroot not being shown. Will be getting that box for sure. The Solar Auxilia stuff is also excellent and I kind of want that box too so if they could come out in different pay months that’d be great.

Absolutely love the solar auxila and the Kroot. If I ever get round to restarting my Imperial Guard force, I'd definitely use the SA minis as a conversion base. So much more potential in those minis than dull Cadians.

Kroot deserve good stuff so I'm glad they are getting it.

Still a bit bleary eyed having not long woken up, but nothing there I’m disliking or am “meh” about.

Big winner are the Solar Auxilia. Genuinely impressed we got the Russ, Malcador and Dracosan. Heavy Sentinel is great in 28mm, and even better will make a tasty foe for Necromunda.

Everything generally looks really good. The Lumineth guys look alright but the poses are a bit much. The ones that are running look fine but the guys leaping about are a bit extra.

I especially love the Mr Potato Head sentinel. Can't wait to Orkify one.

So we've got Earth, Wind and Water for not-High Elves. When do we get Fire? When do we get Heart?

If you have all five, do you summon Captain Tyrion?

Yes, after the new terrain piece.

I don't own any of either, as it happens.

Given HH's track record for releasing just about every variant possible, I think there's a good chance we could see a Churchill Crocodile Malcador Infernus in plastic, and I'd rather than than the standard one (which is stated to be a slower, clunkier and inferior tank to the Russ).

So was Valrak accurate or not?

I lost track of what’s general rumour and what’s this reveal specific.

Everything he said was true, both for SA and Kroot.
For SA he also talked about artillery so we should also be getting Basilisks/Medusas in the near future.

Hounds, cavalry and another character seems a solid bet, though my preference would be for more of a quartermaster/contract negotiator type. Perhaps one that lets them interface with the rest of the Tau's mechanics, and who would say no to a pirate cannibal lawyer (but I repeat myself).

So,

Killteam: nightlords, more spiky marines. Don't care. Mandrakes are cool, have to save them from 40k and use them for something else.

AoS: krethusa is the stand out release. She's stunning. Callis and Toll and friends are cool. Curious if this is the final book.

Warcry: 50/50 on the lumineth, but I was the same about the claws of karanak until I painted them and now I love them. The pyregheists are fantastic and the slann head puts the killteam scenery to shame.

Underworlds: nice band, wasn't expecting another necromantic theme. Would have liked if they went out a bit left field again.

40k: kroot all look nice. Although if you're a tau player who doesn't use the merc side, I could see getting a bit miffed if there's no actual tau released with the tau book.

Heresy: don't care. Just another excuse to reskin what's in 40k and sell it again.

Yeah seems to have been very accurate.

In terms of the reveals-
HH - not my bag at all, no interest but judging from others comments its a good release- lots of kits.
Kroot- nice big set - like the cavalry and krootox - Tau armies are going to look very different, great to have the Root back properly.
Killteam- Mandrakes look lie a great addition for DE, Night Lords set looks excellent for them too. Terrain looks very meh..
Warcry- not a fan of the lumineth but the Gheists look cool, nice piece of terrain.
AoS - once again very nice models, Callis and Toll set would make a nice painting project and the Crone is impressive.

All in all a good reveal, nothing that floats my boat but no duff models so hopefully other folk are happy with what was shown.

Looking forward to TOW and a new Votann killteam in the future..

Don't think so,
Could be in the legends department. But you can have malcadors, which are just, well malcadors.

Who wouldn't want to field squadrons of malcadors.

I do hope that the militia list will get updated for squadron access there aswell at some point as with the dracosan, afterall the maly was in the stage of mothballing when the HH began. But then again fancy leman russ is also available now.

I enjoy that they've artificially put a small barrier to people using the SA russ in 40k due to absence of sponsons.

Yeah I'm happy to see a wide range of solid non-marine reveals for ranges that haven't much lately, and also relieved that none of it is for factions I collect!

Lovely models all around.

If this is only half of what kroot will get then its a good time to collect them.
I do feel that the soul of the army, carnivores are a bit of a let down if you compare them with kits like the Farstalker kin band.
