We've seen the teaser, now it's time for the trailer...

Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, The Abandons) has been cast as Kratos in Prime Video's God of War from Sony Pictures Television.

That is so sad. Transformers One is right there, and there are so many wonderful stories to be told in the Transformers universe.
I fear after the Rise of the Beasts and last knight, we're going to see something like Transformers Commandments, where a piece of the matrix was entrusted to Moses after Prime helped him part the seas, and was buried in the Ark of the Covenant. Now, it's a race against time as Prime and Lebouf battle it out against ... I don't know, a Colombian Decepticon trying to sell Cybertronian enercocaine to schoolkids or something, who turns into a boat and the fate of the universe is totally in the balance.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleyways and mugs them for loose grammar.
Also we discover that mega-ancient transformers who were actually hiding as the very first bronze-age tools that humanity used!
Thus from the depths of the British Museum we'll see bronze age spears, arrow heads and axes transform into a living Autobot!
Meanwhile an even older collection of flit age weapons will combine into a Deceptacon
However an after-credits reel will show the Voyager 5 probe turning around and returning to Earth at the head of a huge spacefleet as - yes - Voyager 5 was also a transformer in disguise and was using Earth to get shot into space to a specific spot to reawaken a long dormant fleet of warriorships

Hmmmm....
That doesn't sound so bad. I'd go watch that in theaters.... wait is there a beautiful woman who can't act and a Linkin Park soundtrack?

Of course there's an awkward teen romance! One half of the film is giant robots doing stuff and fighting; the other half is a teen romcom with occasional baywatch slowmotion scenes.
My favorite "VS." Franchise is getting another sequel... prequel? Reboot? I'm not entirely sure.

I am further enthused.
Director Peter Hoar, who helped bring us Good Man Goes To War for Doctor Who, Long, Long Time and The Path for The Last of Us, and three episodes of Daredevil….has acquired the rights to Blake’s Seven.
Text from the Facebook version of that post, same image, same username/site is wildly different than the caption in the image :
?? Could ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 3 finally happen?
With ALIEN: ROMULUS getting strong early reactions, the franchise’s future is looking brighter than it has in years. Director Fede Álvarez has now said he’d be open to making ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 3, possibly alongside Prey director Dan Trachtenberg — if fan demand is strong enough.
A darker, more serious crossover made by filmmakers who respect both monsters could be something special… or a disaster. ??
Would you want another Xenomorph vs. Yautja showdown? Or should they stay in their own worlds?
A post from 4 days ago referencing "strong early reactions" to a movie that came out in 2024 instead of the newer Alien: Earth show or the Predator: Badlands movie? Possibly AI slop, or just a recycled post to generate clicks. Or both.

Here I was expecting Ballistic 2: MOAR Ecks vs Severs from the talented mind of McG.
Really? I thought you were more of Batman v. Superman fan?

Can't say it gave me much confidence but MotU doesn't really have very strong lore to begin with so maybe it works out, maybe its a Power Rangers kind of forgettable disappointment. It looks the part at least.
