Also need to look into Wheelie Washers. Time was they seemed thick on the ground, but don’t tend to see them these days. Possibly due to said previous communal bins.

We've got them in our area, just outside the city. A grubby sawn-off Transit van comes around once a month, that hoses down the weelie bins in the back.

We got the Chorlton box set a few years ago. Wonderful stuff.

The humidity finally went down enough for me to prime some Sigmar models I had... and my Kill Team bases.

Finished up all the trim and drywall cracks in the house this week. It looks good as new again!

My roof should be fully tiled by the end of Tuesday. Which means the scaffolding will be taken down, and things can start looking a bit normal.

Well, not having scaffolding cluttering the place up.

Still feels like I’m house sitting for someone else.

Tuesday I’ve a bulky waste delivery to ditch the old bed frame, and Wednesday is recycling collection where I can ditch the cardboard.

Once that’s done, I’ll have less crap wafting about, and can then get the rest of the unpacking sorted.

Did you save your wargaming stuff for last to give yourself an incentive to get everything done?

That’s in the room of requirement.

Right now, it’s required as a general store room for all My Precious Things. Once I’ve got the bulky goods collection out the way, I can start sorting it out properly into a general hobby and crafting room.

Got three printers, a PC*, a Cricut, mug press, tee press and all sorts of other gubbins to sort a permanent home for.

*Gonna get an upgraded one, but the gubbins for it are all good still.

An old housemate told me he found a couple of my old "Warhamster guys" and is mailing them to me.

I haven't lived there since 2009. I can't imagine what they are.


Which is good news since I missed free model day when I fell and sprained my wrist and thumb.

Got my elbow tattoo completed today.

It hurt lots. So much so I end up wimping out on starting the next element of this piece. But I still got booked in. By the time that rolls around, this one will be fully healed.

And got my broadband installed!

Engineer was able to use the existing infrastructure so it was nice and quick.

I was in the shop earlier today trying to figure out WarCry, when I witnessed something I cannot unsee or unhear.

A guy has a couple wraitguard and wraithlords set up for painting, and this little kid points at them and says loudly, "Sperm!"

But now I see it. They do kinda look like sperm.

I need this kid to call out other armies to curb my future spending.

Embrace it. Paint them all white, except the webway gates. Paint that pink.

Our Shuttle Bus to RV conversion is now usable..... not done but usable.

Personally they look like bowling pins to me, but I can see the sperm, got me to laugh during work.
Guess that counts as my little win, best I’ve felt this week.
