Here in Australia we just get a foot under them, and then flick them over the neighbours fence.

It may just have been a play on how far apart neighbours are in the mighty Oz

Yeah, I remember being lied to, when I was told Maryville, NSW was a "suburb" of Sydney.

Must be tricky to get the boot underneath. It is pretty hefty.

No 15km brag. The edit was because I misspelled "Neighbours". I think Jadenim was making light of the fact we have truly monumental farms/properties in certain parts of the country. Which we do. We've got a couple in Queensland that make the much bragged about "Texas Ranches" look positively anemic in comparison. What muppet fed you that line. If I'm not mistaken, I'm reasonably sure that Maryville is closer to Newcastle then it is Sydney. EDIT- I just checked. I was right, Maryville is an inner suburb of Newcastle. They must REALLY want to be a part of Sydney. It's a great episode, that one.

That was used to lure me to the country for vacation. To be honest, had they mentioned Newcastle being the closest town, I probably would've responded with "Huh?"
