Just like the title says. I was dreaming of winning the 'Ard Boyz semis and kicking around what army I would ask for. Have it narrowed to; Imp Guard, Chaos and daemons. All are armies I don't presently have. What about you, Dakkites? If you won, what would YOU pick?

Big enough to have a fall down template. Yup, that's me!

*I* get to spec the army list that GW provides?

That'll be Witch Hunters with full-transport Sisters of Battle backed by Inquistion Stormtroopers... >

2500 pts of pure metal, averaging something like 180 pts per 10-model squad? That's nearly 150 infantry with over a dozen tanks.

At $4 per model, I'm looking at $600 worth of Sisters & Storms, plus a similar amount in Tanks.

$1200+ worth of minis? Oh, yeah...

(THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK)

I want that forge world only space marine chapter. Red Scorpions or something. Either way it would be far in excess of 600$ once all is said and done.

Something involving lots of Sisters. If it was WHFB you could really cash in on slaves.... but definitely metals. I don't have too many problems funding a plastic army by myself.

IG, but not any of the metal or resin "legions" of old (so no praetorians, valhallans, etc).

I actually don't like greatcoat guard.

If I chose Guard, I would go for a 2500 point Vostroyan Army. Definately go for all metal.

Sisters of Battle.
Grey Knights
Vostroyans, etc

Even if you hate the army, you can easily sell it and make enough money back to buy something else, or two armies, for that matter.

Well, since they don't let you choose what models you get, only what army you get, I'd choose Orks first. Second choice would be Eldar.
I can't really think of an army besides those 2 that I'd WANT that I don't already have (right now, I have SM & CSM). I have a feeling, though, that I'll probably want Dark Eldar when the new codex comes out, presuming they're half as cool as Eldar.

Dunno. Maybe I'd like Daemons, too, if I could choose the God, at least.

i think i'd go for a daemon army, as many bloodcrushers as possible.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Out of the ones you've listed, guard is probably due for an overhaul shortly, and it would cost you a lot more to do a daemon army than a chaos one, so on that basis I'd chose daemons
