People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I absolutely hate any light with blue tint ,
they have messed up my mini way too many times!
the blue looks similar at night time and looks way different
at day light!

Always with a pair of lamps, both with some kind of fluorescent (I dont know... they give off the normal hue of lightbulbs).
Ones a regular desk lamp, the other is a clip on magnifier lamp.
Then I have a lone fluorescent tupe hanging over the workspace...
Yet with all these, my workspace is STILL poorly lit...

If it's daytime, I'll use the Sun. As the earth rotates I'll start using other means of lighting. I've got two of those wee Ikea lamps and I've also got a spot fluorescent with a magnifying glass in it.
My painting area is really terrible now as it also doubles as the kitchen table. So, I've got to put all my stuff away pretty much every 5-6 hours. My old painting area was way better, and hopefully next year when we move out of this J-Hobbit hole, I'll have more space and a proper desk that can just accumulate debris and junk.

I use a 40w>100w upgrade standard lightbulb. Tried the daylight lightbulbs but it just annoyed me. It's good because I can now see what I'm doing and because I know what colour it is gonna turn out I don't need to see the true colour

I use the fluorescent ceiling lights here at work, in the past I have tried multiple various desk lamps, a couple of the true color daylight bulbs, sunlight, etc. I find just regular old fluorescent is the best, 99% of the time game stores and events are lit by these types of bulbs, so your paint job wont take a mysterious hue when you travel, everyone sees it as you painted it.

THE HORUS HERESY: Emprah: Hours, go reconquer the galaxy so there can be a new golden age. Horus: But I should be Emprah, bawwwwww! Emprah: Magnus, stop it with the sorcery. Magnus: But I know what's best, bawwwwww! Emprah: Horus, tell Russ to bring Magnus to me because I said so. Horus: Emprah wants you to kill Magnus because he said so. Russ: Fine. Emprah's always right. Plus Ole Red has already been denounced as a traitor and I never liked him anyway. Russ: You're about to die, cyclops! Magnus: O noes! Tzeentch, I choose you! Bawwwww! Russ: Ah well. Now to go kill Horus. Russ: Rowboat, how have you not been doing anything? Guilliman: . . . I've been writing a book. Russ: Sigh. Let's go. Guilliman: And I fought the Word Bearers! Horus: Oh shi--Spess Puppies a'comin? Abbadon: And the Ultramarines, sir. Horus: Who? Anyway, this looks bad. *enter Sanguinis* What are you doing here? Come to join me? Sanguinius: *throws self on Horus's power claws* Alas, I am undone! When you play Castlevania, remember me! *enter Emprah* Emprah: Horus! So my favorite son killed my favorite daughter! Horus: What about the Lion? Emprah: Never liked her. Horus: No one does. Now prepare to die! *mortally wounds Emprah*Emprah: Au contraire, you dick. *kills Horus* Dorn: Okay, now I just plug this into this and . . . okay, it works! Emprah? Hellooooo? Jonson: I did nothing! Guilliman: I did more nothing that you! Jonson: Nuh-uh. I was the most worthless! Guilliman: Have you read my book? Dorn: No one likes that book. Khan: C'mon guys. It's not that bad. Dorn: I guess not. Russ: You all suck. Ima go bring the Emprah back to life.

All my painting at home is done under a halogen lamp because it produces a very white light. At the game stores where I paint the lighting is fluourescent.

I use a little desklamp with a GE Reveal daylight bulb. The problem is - to avoid slouching over why I paint I prop up my paint station on a box (on my desk).
The neck of the lamp isn't that long though - so I wind up being right near it - I've burned my forehead a few times accidentally leaning into it.

I use a slightly blue tinted LED lamp clamped to my desk. It seems to make the details pop better than other lamps, even though the colors are a bit strange. Gotta love never replacing a bulb too.
