Yep, i'll have to get it! even if the reviews haven't been kind for whatever the reason, i'll still get it and enjoy it, how can we not enjoy it? we've finally got a movie about space marines! and as we all know beggars can't be choosers! but I will wait until it comes out a bit cheaper next year? can't quite justify the exchange rate to Australia at the moment.

It probably won't get to either unless you persuade your movie rental place to get it.(lots of begging might be needed)
I pre-ordered it the day it went up!^.^
I may play chaos but I have been following the making since they started and have been looking forward to it so much more then getting more models.

Considering it looks like a steaming pile I'll pass on it unless I hear very good things from credible sources.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

Will probably try to "watch it online" if it's available. Eventually I will buy the normal version, but there is no way I'm shelling out $50+ or whatever it is for the collectors. So far the reviews (Yakface, Silver, etc.) have made good points about why we as fans should support this, but it's still garbage CGI, and the story is reviewing as a little too vanilla.... We'll see when they drop the price how many more units they move.

I'll pick up a basic edition (assuming it's not outrageously overpriced). Unless there is a better cut of the film, I almost never buy special editions.

I'm a sucker for all things Ultramarines, lol, so I'll be getting the Collector's edition regardless - mainly to show my support, in hopes that they will see the interest and make more movies (hopefully, bigger and better!).

I pre-ordered the collector copy. From what Iv'e seen it looks fairly good so far.

I ordered for three reasons.
1. It's the first REAL 40k movie
2. It's about Ultramarines
3. To show my support in hopes we get more and better movies in the future.

I definitely want to see it, but not so much that I'd shell out the cash for the special edition. Maybe I'd snag the upcoming standard edition, if I ever manage to plug that hole in my wallet...

CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT!

Pre-ordered day it was available...I'm a huge fan of 40k and GW's works, and supporting an awesome-looking movie (not talking graphics, though they are still impressive total CGI for an independent studio) but an awesome concept. The sheer idea that they're making a movie on my favorite bunch of plastic men boggles my mind, and I want this to continue. Also, waiting over a year for the movie is too painful.

I can't believe some people would actually consider not buying this, it's the first real movie of our favorite hobby made for the fans, and the trailers look completely bad-a$$. I read somewhere how this is the first movie proposal GW accepted (apparently, Hollywood had proposed movies before) but as film-makers' goals were to bring it to a wider audience, (for example, introducing a love interest), GW declined repeatedly as it didn't stay true to the universe of 40k. This one is actually true to the source setting, and I support this completely!

$50 for a movie like that is just ridiculous.

If they come out with a regular version for $20 I'd buy it no problem. But then you can only get it online....this is going to be a mega fail.

$50 niche DVD movie, no marketing at ALL, no way to buy it other than from the frigging website, which means I'll have to pay and wait for shipping from the UK.
