Here is the first finished model that I am going to use as a webway portal in my Kroot counts-as Dark Eldar list. The Games Workshop Woods set is a great buy if you need three portals and missed out on the limited time only portals that were available when the codex first came out. It is quite easy to make the portal thanks to the design of the kit, because one side of the lower trunk is a separate piece. Simply don't glue that piece in, and green stuff a portal in the space that is available.

But.. Fluff wise (as i know nothing about kroots) do they posses the technology to have webway portals? Or is it just some damn Eldar who forgot where he put his ;D

Never seen dark eldar kroots, thou imperial and ork ones but that is really awesome tree portal. Wery krootish! You still can get broblems with its size. Original is about 2,5X bigger so getting big units out of it is going to be little broblem, I think. Dont know rules propably but still.
