The same way you put images into any normal post.

This doesn't belong in Nuts & Bolts...

Use the image buttons.. see the image button above the text box? Click it. Then input the image [u]location, followed by clicking the image button again.

Once you've been doing this long enough, you learn to just write the codes out yourself.

Are you using the quick reply box? Make sure you use the "post reply" box.

Same process, but you just have to write the code. Begin with [img] followed by the link, and then repeat the code but with a / after the first bracket.

I think

1. Start with "[img]" (without quotes)

2. Type the url of picture

3. Then close with "[/img]" (without quotes)

EDIT: Yeah... what Darkvoidof40k said...

You put the image location (right click the image, pick this option and paste it normally) inbetween the two sets of brackets.

Please read the FAQ thread that is sticked at the top of this forum.

This post in particular:

Obviously ignore the parts about attaching an image (because your signature isn't a post), but otherwise the same principles about using [ IMG ] tags apply as well as needing to have an internet host for your pictures.

Bear in mind that the signature block has a limited screen estate so you can't go stuffing a massive jpeg in there and expect it to display properly - you will end up with it being chopped in half or something. Ideally, you should use a picture that has been designed for a forum signature space (or have cropped it yourself in photoshop first).

Also, please bear in mind other users. If your sig picture is brightly coloured, vomit or epilepsy inducing or a flashy, irritating GIF then you may well find yourself appearing on people's ignore lists.

If I remember correctly it is only 150 pixels maximum so it needs to be shorter than that or it will be cropped. A decent idea would also be not to make it too wide to keep in mind other users.

I'm not really sure if mine would be considered too wide, but it's the maximum width I'd ever make a sig.

I must tip my hat sir .. Using a pic of the noble Platypus from the homeland as your first image ... brings a proud tear to the eye it does.

I like stuff.
