Edit: Our full range is now available online at: http://www.honeybeeworks.co.uk
Many of you hopefully remember the very popular S6 Engineering scenery products produced 2010-2011 by Scott Wright. Mainly they were a system of modular roadways, canals, bridges and buildings designed for 40k and Epic (as well as similar genre games).
Sadly in 2011 Scott became to busy with 'real life' to continue production. I've known Scott since University and over a heady draft of Bugman's we came to an agreement where my company (Honey Bee Works) would begin producing and expanding his range of excellent scenery.
We are excited to announce we are putting the finishing touches in place to complete the first production run and you will see the products begin to become available over this weekend. For those of you who missed out on the products here are some examples (all made from laser cut acrylic)
We will be accepting orders (including international) soon!

When the 40k roads originally launched a couple of the post complained they weren't wide enough. Obviously a Rhino isn't a car (an APC is a lot wider) but is there desire for a wider 40k road system that would essentially be double width?
I could do that relatively easily and it would remain compatible with the building bases. Plus I can do an adaptor to go from double wide to the current 40k road system (I have a 40k to epic road adaptor already).
What else would people like to see? A 40k version of the airfield is do-able (and massive)......any other strong desires?

BairdEC : unfortunately I don't play Battletech but a number of people ordered the Epic stuff for Battletech from Scott and were happy with it. I *think* Scott has some Battletech so I will ask if can borrow some or get him to take a photo for you.
In the mean time (and this may not help) here is a pic of a FoW tank and some more Epic mini's with the Epic scale road, building bases and ruins....

On the 28mm road width.. maybe consider turn lanes or 3 lanes (2 lanes + passing lane). That should alleviate some of the cramped..ness..
Not sure if this helps but it illustrates your point about the APC's on streets designed for cars.

We're ready a bit ahead of schedule.
Some Epic scale stuff is up for sale
Edit: While we will continue to sell some kits on ebay (user ID : HoneyBeeWorksUK) our entire range is available at www.honeybeeworks.co.uk
International shipping is costly on individual items (nothing I can do there) but it doesn't increase much to ship more.
If you do intend to buy a lot, please contact me and I will sort out reduced shipping costs (ebay isn't very flexible) plus it will save me a fortune in ebay fees on shipping!
Will post some 40k stuff tomorrow

Hi Porkuslime. Sort of. currently we want to focus on producing and expanding the range rather than a webshop (we are a band of 2 both with other full time jobs). So for regular packs it will be eBay.
We can always accept an order via a PM - makes sense for large orders where eBay doesn't allow for us to customize the shipping. Or if someone wants to order something odd ball....like ordering only 90 degree corners or something.
In that case we could send a PayPal invoice....
Is eBay an issue for you?

ebay is a Work Blocked issue, which means impulse buying must wait until tonight.
I am highly interested in the Bridges.. can they work without the raised roads? (say for those homebrew types who made their own)

The bridges are standalone so will work fine with other scenery. The plastic is 3mm thick so you will have a slight lip at the end of the road....but I assume your road has some thickness....which will reduce that.
Incidentally the roads are only raised when not used with the base boards, sold separately. When used with the building bases it is flush.
On the subject of bridges....Do you have a hankering for a much bigger bridge? As in a proper suspension bridge?

Many have asked about the great modular canals originally offered by S6 Engineering in 2010.
We are pleased to announce that the canal packs are now available.
The 28mm ( 40k scale) canal starter pack:
The 6mm/15mm (Epic 40k scale) canal starter pack:
Both are 4ft of canal!
We will combine postage on multiple sets or with our other road, base and building sets.

Well I took the plunge and ordered a bunch of stuff. Might actually get my Epic table finished (or at least, to a state approximating satisfaction).
Looking forward to getting the canals, if they are any good will probably end up getting the 40K versions as well.

Wow, pretty cool stuff. I'm not in the market for terrain right now, but I hope to be in a year or so.
Do the canals clip together at all? that's the one bummer with the old armorcast tech canals...

Thanks Filbert. We'll get it packed up over the weekend and out on Monday. The epic canals are simpler by necessity than the 40k version.
Polonious: the canals don't clip together but they are plastic so reasonably weighty and won't slide around.
Edit: Actually I was thinking about this last night. I could re-design the roads and canals to be like jigsaw pieces that clip together...but to work properly that would require the board to be completely flat (otherwise they wouldn't clip and would look terrible). It struck me the simplest, most flexible answer is to use a small piece of clear selotape on the underside. It's flexible to allow for any texturing/undulations in the gaming board...plus it's cheap and strong.
As out kits are plastic the tape sticks well enough to hold it firmly yet comes off easily and cleanly when needed to be packed away.
