Hi there!

Here I wanna show off stuff I make for Necromunda. I'm really interested in the setting of the game (especially the older versions and the Necromunda community Edition), so I've wanted to make my own gang for a long time. While I do not have anybody to play Necromunda with, I still enjoy making the models and Necromunda terrain just for fun. The small starting gang I am about to show you was planned with the old gang roster from Necromunda community edition, and looks like this:

Necromunda Orlocks (1000 C)

- Leader w/ Sword, Autopistol, Autogun (170 C)
- Heavy w/ H. Stubber, Autogun (200 C)
- Ganger w/ Autogun (70 C)
- Ganger w/ Autogun (70 C)
- Ganger w/ Autogun (70 C)
- Ganger w/ Autogun (70 C)
- Ganger w/ Shotgun & Club (80 C)
- Ganger w/ Shotgun & Club (80 C)
- Ganger w/ Shotgun (70 C)
- Juve w/ Autopistol (40 C)
- Juve w/ Autopistol (40 C)
- Juve w/ Autopistol (40 C)

With the models being magnetized, I have left myself the option of swapping loadouts around and adapting the models to other, newer rulesets if needed. Alright, let’s jump right into pictures:

Here’s a regular Ganger w/ Shotgun. Like all other models (except for the juves), his arms are magnetized and can easily be swapped with any other Ganger.

Next, a Ganger with an Autogun:

And another one. The Autoguns are made using the Catachan Lasguns and replacing the battery packs with Boltgun mags. I also cut down the slanted muzzles to be flat like on regular Autoguns and drilled a small hole into them.

Next is another ganger with Shotgun. These were taken from the SM Scouts, as I am sure you can easily tell. The scale works really well with the Catachans, though

Another Ganger with Shotgun, this time with more of a running pose.

Another Ganger with Autogun.

And a final one:

Alright, moving on to the Gang Leader. He’s equipped with a Sword, Autopistol and Autogun, but in the following images, I just messed around with some of the weapon options I have already made and that I wanted to show off. The club in the following image was taken from a set of Chaos cultists.

Next up, here he is with double swords:

And finally, with a powerfist and a pistol:

Next up, one of my personal favourites: The Gang’s Heavy weapons guy! I gave him a custom H. Stubber. This weapon was spliced together from a Cadian flamer, a drum mag from the SM scout bike grenade launcher, an exhaust pipe from a venerable dreadnought as well as some greenstuff, cardstock, and a piece of sprue for a barrel.

Also, like the other Gangers, his arms are interchangeable. Here he is with an Autogun instead:

And just the H. Stubber arms on their own:

Alright, almost done. All that’s left to show are the juves:

These three guys were made from shortened Cadian legs, some WHFB Zombie torsos, some Cadian arms (both contemporary as well as older, OOP bitz) and heads from either the Catachan sprue or the SM Scouts. The scout heads have had their headphone details removed, but now I still have to sculpt some ears and other detail back on instead. Also, I have to fix some ugly spots where I had to cut away a lot of material for the conversion.

Ok, that’s all the minis I have for this gang. I’m still a little on the fence on how to paint them though. I’m thinking of using muted, dark shades of green, brown or just plain black for some of the clothing. I also have to carefully pick a shirt colour, since all gangers will have to have the same to prevent the arm swaps from looking silly. It’s no problem with the sleeveless shirts, but the Heavy for example has sleeves. Something I also want for this gang is for the equipment and weapons to look rusted and a bit old. They should also appear like a rag-tag assortment of weapons bought or stolen from various different sources, so I might go for mixed paintjobs on them. I’d very much appreciate all your input on this project and I’m looking forward to reading your comments!

Until next time!

Cool conversions!
That's pretty much what I was doing (minus magnets) when I was first playing Necromunda.
I used a lot of Empire bits for VanSaar and Delaque

My hobby ADHD, mostly Necromunda, with a splash of regular 40k...

FeistyRips,

Interesting conversions, but you might want to sand off those Imperial Eagles. You do not want the Arbites seeing them.

One bit of advice, if you have the credits, upgrade one Ganger to a Heavy...just equip him with regular gang firearms. You always want a spare Heavy available if your main one dies, gets an Old Battle Wound, etc.

Cheers,

CB

Thanks Guardling! I checked your gallery and I gotta say, lots of awesome Necromunda stuff there! yeah, the magnets allow for some easy weapon swaps if a character gets an upgrade during a campaign, so I decided to go with them

Thanks also Captain Brown! Oh, really? Do the Arbites keep an eye out for that kind of stuff? I had no idea! Is it because it's contraband or something?
Also, thanks for the advice with the heavy! I might swap out a few gangers/juves for him, good thinking!
