I love the baggy, realistic spacesuit vibes of a lot of the Expanse minis. I will probably wait for retail though.

The ships are basic, but potentially fairly widely useful. Curious about the other four designs.

The crew figures would benefit from some physical samples... They seem to have some odd proportions, and it's difficult to tell how much of that is just the renders looking weird, as renders often do.

large sprue images for more of the Damned KS

Spoiler:

heavy weapons test shot (looks to need a touch more plastic/pressure/temperature to complete the filling of some of the large flat areas)

Heavy infantry layout

female infanty, layout in progress, they're fiddling with what goes on the sprue in order to maintain correct plastic flow

more news next week including another frame to show you and perhaps the next layout (hopefully)

New SP looks very ooh-rah. Think it is a manned HMG-style weapon rather than an autonomous platform, but could be some kind of 'sentry gun' I guess.
Not totally blown away by the design, but don't hate it either. Will probably end up getting some eventually.

I agree, I think it is for the Cannon Fodder set.

Sneaky Sniper Drone

here is hoping it's a sentry gun and not just another crew served. my own suggestions in the WGA idea thread for the set was to lean into the light infantry feel. with the heavy weapons being stuff like ManPad rocket launchers, portable MG's, Grenade launchers, etc. and the command squad parts being stuff like SMG/PDW versions of the 'lasgun' weapons the basic set uses, as well as various customization bits for non-combat gear.

Grey For Now Games are finally showing off the Guards of Traitor's Toll figures. Only the 3 guards in the attached pic are officially announced as 3 of the 6 plastic bodies per frame, but the On Tabletop article last month kind of outed the rest of the figures in the preview shots as plastic, and you can see some repeated parts between them.

No idea how well the game will play, but it's an interesting concept. No hard details other than it's a semi-coop warband game where each player plays a guard captain and 5 guards and you are competing against each other to go around town and solve crimes, help NPC citizens and apprehend NPC criminals. I was not particularly impressed when I played the 1st ed Test of Honour, but 0200 Hours is pretty fantastic. Even if the game is awful, those figures look great

I'd like to see the civilian side. IIRC, they did say there would be civilians and criminals.

And C.M.O.T. Dibbler counts as both!

To be honest all you need is a sensor pod that can be swapped out for rear gunner trigger assembly, or even just some infantry arms with a remote control, and you have a nice little remote OR manned turret depending on whether you put infantry controlling it or not.

Civilians? That's going to seriously hurt my wallet then. I love and need more civilians. The guards not so much, but that's mostly because I'm not the biggest fan of plate and prefer them to only have mail. But that's just me.

Last I've seen of the rules they were a "concept scribbled on a napkin at lunch" level nothingburger, which feels at odds with going all in on commissioning two plastic sprues and pre-printed mdf terrain. Hopefully they do actually get as polished as everything else, or else this is all just a very aggressive marketing campaign for some plastic minis.

Posters on ignore list: 36

40k Potica Edition - 40k patch with reactions, suppression and all that good stuff. Feedback thread here.

Gangs of Nu Ork - Necromunda / Gorkamorka expansion supporting all faction. Feedback thread here

You probably haven't been paying attention to his development of the rules over the last couple years. Remember that Graham is a consummate perfectionist and that the foundation of this game is built from the same concepts as the 02 Hundred Hours one.

Like we did with 02 Hundred Hours we've made plastic sets for the game but these will also be part of our Classic Fantasy range. The City Folk set will be pretty amazing for populating your D&D towns and for kitbashing. The guard will make good adventurers, mercenaries, etc.

The plastics for both will be ready next month.

Valkir plastic T1 due on October 8th. Barons' War Levy and Serjeants plastic T1s at end of October. Bunch of Damned frames in between those too.
