So .. it's pretty, as expected, but that trailer is a mess. Looks like a bunch of cut scenes spliced together to advertise a graphics card, rather than any sort of coherent movie.
For all their faults I did enjoy both of the other two Avatar movies. I do hope we see another trailer for this one as I'm confused as to what the story is here (other than the fact that at least one antagonist is a Na'vi leader).
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

First thing I'm thinking is we've reached the "colonial powers paying off/manipulating the Native Americans to fight each other" bit of the metaphor for this franchise.
I wonder if they remember that they're there to yoink unobtanium from the natives. They kind of forgot about that in the second movie. Also, are they now going to forget all about whale brains as well now that the quest for fire is on?

The biggest failing of Avatar is that the same guy is behind it who already knew thirty years earlier that the solution is to nuke them from orbit. The native victory in the first movie is almost Ewok levels grotesque.

I thought it was because the natives weren't facing the Terran military, merely Space Nestlé and a few hired goons. Does Nestlé have nukes?
Also friendly reminder to the ultra far right to please just quit outing themselves in Avatar threads, it's embarrassing.
