@Squidbot Thanks I don't think I'll be trying that again It was pretty hard to get just right, washes didn't want to sit right and blending it ...I tried a lot of different and new techniques on him and don't want to do it again...takes to long and not really my style..

But on the bright side I did win a $20 bet with it.... Long story short some one saw a pic that looks a lot like this one while I was surfing the e-bays at work. He bet me that I couldn't paint it up to look like that one. Took like 2 times my normal time to paint him up and had to redo a lot to get it right but there ya have it.

@Gitsplitta Well I'm sure you will be making progress of your own to match. Cant wait to see that Squiggoth when it's finished. You going to do it up in your Bad Moons Yellow, or try something different with him?

Well the one that started my journey into dakkadakka is now checked off from my list of things to do. But don't worry. That is still a long list and seems to keep growing. So now it's off to finish weathering some more stuff that needs it.

Fantastic close-ups there Den! Really amazed at all the detail and function you built in.thats actually been one of the delays in painting... I've been struggling over the paint job of the rest of the figure.

Great work. So many little details. I'll pick out just one; I like the wonky sliding door that looks like it's been wrenched open, that's a nice touch.

Well I haven't done anything for a bit...don't know when I will get back into it like I was. Been playing some video games with my daughter as of late.

But I already ordered my Gorkanaut but I am going to have to add a little something to it...it just looks to well bare, to much empty space. And I'm going to have to do something about those wooden clog shoes that it's wearing.

Can't promise when I'll get around to it once it is here though. With my classes starting up and 6 months till I get my degree I'll have my hands full. But I'm sure that will not completely stop me.

Wow it has bee a while hasn't it...

Well I'll clue ya all in on what has been happening it's birthday season... seems every weekend it's some one else's birthday around here... got one tomorrow to go to as well. And there is just the nights my wife wants to go out w/ our friends, I haven't spent a single weekend with nothing to do but relax in well over 2 months...though Sundays have been our recovery days... well I should say her recovery days anyway... So yes personal life stuff and summer time fun have kicked in..


But as any Ork infected place goes even if you don't see anything going on doesn't mean there isn't more orks growing in the dark and damp holes in the ground.

Last update I said that I ordered my Gork/Morkanaught. well I got it, built it, and magnetized it. Started the painting this week and while I was at it I decided to start on it's brother too






Oh and so you all don't think that my wife is just some party animal that is trying to stop my from enjoying this fine hobby...She got me a small Birthday gift...And I put some of it together...well Just the Character's right now anyway...the rest will come along later.






You might be saying something of...what was the rest of this "Small Gift"... Well this is the "Small Birthday Gift my Wife gave me...Minus the Gork/Morkanaught.

@Gitsplitta Well that is the idea...Only haven't really started it quite yet. But it's next on my list so I should be starting them soon. I got the base reds finished. But I wanted to get the other Characters finished before I started on them two.

As it is summer time there seems to be something going on all the time around here and I didn't feel like updating every few days w/ one more mini finished. I thought once I get all the characters I had lined up finished I'd just post em then. And here we are.

Wow it's been awhile hasn't it.

Well I have a lot on my plate right now so progress has slowed down on my hobby. But I manage to get a few minutes here and there every few days to do some work but that's about all I get. In some ways I don't mind though by being forced to take my time I seem to think of more things to do to make it look better.

So As I showed you all way back when I had a few things to get painted up...



Well I finished all the little guys up a few months ago and Then went to work on the Morkanaut. I took my time on him and fixed some stuff I didn't like about the model. I magnetized it, so it can be either version, changed the huge door glyph, got rid of the CLOG FEET! oh my god I hated them the most. I made the Big Shootas look like Big Shootas rather than normal Shootas, changed the driver out with the driver from the battlewagon kit as he sits up higher its more fitting on the underside and doesn't look like I have half a driver in there, made the Kustom Force Field a bit bigger, and I gave him more propa exhaust pipes. I managed to finished him off about a month and a half ago. But I wanted to wait until I finished the MegaDreead too update my post. So here is my Morkanaut(or Gork)















And then swapped out to the Gorkanaut









I must say though, I didn't like the way the model stood it seemed to be leaning to far forward the way it was cast. It just seemed off to me so with the time I had to try this and that I found one solution but I needed a bigger base than what I had. And then I had to do a little something to the new one to get the effect I was going for. With time on my side I went to work and finally had my new base.


















But with changing out the Base that I was going to use on this Mega Dread I had a slight problem...

My other Mega Dread already had a base...and it was a different style. And to be honest I think I put to much junk on that one so he seemed a bit off compared to the rest of my stuff. So... I changed out that one too and now they both have similar Bases.

So you all know I am not dead, Been lurking around watching the contests and people getting back into the swing of things. Must say there is lots of great talent out there. I myself have found that my time of painting has decreased to about 20 mins a day, barely enough time to get my brush wet let alone get some paint on any mini. But plug away I will and this is the latest batch to be released. And to top it off they are for the most part the last of my special Character's. I will mainly I will be focusing on boys for a wile, to knock down that pile a bit before I dig into the next batch of heavy machinery.

Awesome job there. Haven't seen anything that nice in a long while.

Holy It's almost been a whole Year since I've posted anything... Well alot has happened over the last year. But... not to much in the way of painting. Only like 40 boys painted I'll post them later. I'm at work atm. Yeah I have been lurking watching ya all puter away some more than others. Gitz great work on the Halloween army, Ramos very nice as always, I'm not going to keep on mentioning the others nice work all around.

Well I got a PS4 last christmas from my wife and then got addicted I then moved back Stateside (from Spain) and had to find myself a new Job (Got one) And after having all my house hold goods in storage for 6 months I got it all back including my minitures back in September. Since then I have started working on them. I finished the 2 trukks as you have requested I put some muddy foot prints in the flat-bed I still need to rig up a new photo booth before I'll be able to post any desent pics.

I also finished 10 Sluggas, 10 Shootas, 7 Kommandos, 5 burrnas, 6 Tank Bustas, & 5 Lootas So it's a nice batch to my core troops

Well just letting yall know I'm alive

Oh and if any of you are or going to be, in the Seattle greater area and want to set up a game hit me up.
