the neck i think also would owrk if done a bit more meaty looking... i imagine her to be more of a atheltic nature looking feme fatale... by the way... i just realised that her back and spine look slightly lopsided... and i like that! as i think that adds yet again charcter to the mini... no one stands straight completly...we always try to shift weight from one feet to the other! by the way... we should really find a name for her... something like...not-sally

Well, there is one good thing about my wife not caring much about this hobby. She pretty much doesn't care if I sculpt females. I would have to do some quick thinking if I had naked females, but I don't...yet.

Anyway, today was a a good day, and I got alot of things done. I'll post pics around 9 AM Mountain time tomorrow.

A while ago, someone suggested I sculpt heads with Bicorn hats. Well, I have a treat for you!

Also, I have been working on a gas mask to fit my skull helmets, and with some minor modification, should work for just about any mini out there.

OK, I have been working on a separate gas mask that could be used universally. I almost made it. It fits all of my skull masks, but some alteration to either the mask or the figure you want to attach it to would have to be made to fit it to other models. See below:

Love the gasmasks man! ANd the Pirate Heads are a much-needed catachan head variety!

You know, generic bearded heads are also very much needed. There is only 1 per sprue in the Chaos Marauder sprue- and GW quit seling their excellent Mordheim Hairy Head sprue....

Hey Swampy! Sorry I couldn't remember who suggested it, I didn't want to try to find the comment, I couldn't even remember how long ago it was!

Yeah, it had been bouncing around in my head a lot lately, and I just had to finaly do it yesterday. There is still some clean-up to do on the hat. But I have some more heads I want to do for the Scurvy Dogs!

Im about to head off to a memorial service A year ago today a gaint F4 tornado came through my town here at Uni and killed 44 people (most of them students). For myself, the tornado was coming straight for my apartment when by the grace of God, it turn and started heading N-NE of my apartment. Literally at the last moment. Its been a strange feeling today. If you want more details i left a little note in my own P&M

as i already said... i love the stance of your Female heretics investigator...

that added spine and for that matter the shoulderblades look very good!

then to the gasmasks...
i really like the look...they work for now best on your heads...one small nitpick tho... i think those filters are a bit far reaching...a bit long for me... tho the details and all looks very good to me...

the bicorn head looks very good too... the angle on the left side looks even more like a tricorn...which i even like more (i do know that it is the same head and the same hat^^)

the stitchings on the patch looks amazing! (by the way...a rivetted version would be also nice...:


but the award for bets looking head this time goes to the Dew-rag Dude!!!!!

hmmmm... i dunno...dreadlocks would be a nice addition to the ranks of heads for swapping...

and yep...that kind of tricorne would be awsome...and if you were to cater for the ´munda scene i bet that these hats would be highly valuable for players... Inq and such stuff...

Thanks Squigsquasher! Well, not ALL of my minis are going to be bikini warriors! Most, but not ALL! I gotta go with what I like right?

I use ProCreate two-part epoxy for the most part. Everything gray is anyway. When I have stuff that is green on here, it's Apoxie Sculpt. Another 2 parter, but it is drastically different. More of a clay than epoxy.

I'm not a fan of Kneedatite Green Stuff. I don't like the working properties. But others swear by it. not for me though.

I have recently ordered Magic Sculp, so I'll see how that works. I hear it's wonderful stuff.

3. capt, the thing i think that you should do to him is make is hat a bit saggy, atm i feel like it looks like a stiff hat on his head, then again i dont own a pirate hat and dont know how they interact with heads
