wow there are a lot more lego pieces now than there were in my childhood + you could never find enough of the same colour. Looks good, shame about the erm... third leg though.

You know, if he filed off all the lego blobs, it wouldn't be that different from forgeworld's effort

It's only there because Lego/Technic pieces can't hold up that much top weight on their own with only two legs that thin(Lego Engineers actually use steel skeletons for the park attractions). Almost every Lego bipedal walker I've seen that large or larger has much thicker legs or is propped up by something.

I don't think a Slaaneshi titan would complain...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

I was thinking the same thing, brother. Start gluing the parts down to solidify the entire thing so it can stand on its own, the just start filing down those numbs and add some detail and you're in business. Kind of jealous now.

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?"

Gluing the parts helps a little, but not much. You'd have to heavily pin the crap out of the thing. The Lego guys figured this out really early on, which is why they now use steel skeletons and framing.

Its a great effort, the only thing in its downfall is that its not 'warhammer' enough. You know the way everything in the grim darkness of the far future has to be out of proportion and covered in self advertising logo's (imperial eagle)

I do think it knocks the socks of most peoples cardboard attempts at a warhound. Bring on the Lego Reaver titan!

The problem with gluing legos is that they have a tendancy to warp. Liquid Nails is what the pros use and they have to take into account the expansion of the plastics when exposed to the glue.

Platuan4th probably has the best idea to keep it from falling apart: a light and strong skeleton that can pin the outer lego skin in place.

That being said, I know I've seen other lego titans that didn't have a third leg.

I met some professional lego builders at a comic-con once. they had a HUGE floor space and had some sheer awesomeness going on there. And that Titan totally looks the gak

Yeah, but what would be the point? Judging from the price of LEGO kits nowadays plus having to buy a lot of kits to get all those pieces I'm guessing building this cost more than buying one from FW.
