Gale force 9 snow flock. It's very prone to clumping in little balls, so I have to brush it with a soft brush after drying.

Thanks EDC, I'm actually doing sensible things at the same time. My commissar cadet squad is all based and I'm doing their blacks at the moment.

Usually it's declaring what stupid idea I've recently had.

Okay I have been batching the Commissar Cadets, and one will get some extra attention each day.

Today it's Commissar Yorke.

Difficult parts done.

Jacket back.

I'm so so on this, I don't do fabric very often, in fact this is a first.

The figure will come together tomorrow, it's a rare occasion where I have an overall plan.

Haha, ain't it the truth. No nuln on this fella so far, I've been using it on a giant mud base for my jeep though. I hope to make it a step by step.

White robes? On a Guard army? You Sir are a sadist!

Commissar Yorke is looking really good thus far. You paint skin really well, he looks so characterful.

It really is so that I can find them in a hurry.
Nothing as frustrating as moving table and finding you left half a squad behind!

great idea with the tread/track marks. Which Tauros - one of the Elysian ones or the plastic tractor trucks?

The very basic 4 wheel Forgeworld one.
I'm also casting a custom driver and replacing the gunner.

Did a bit more work after seeing the water was frothy on the right hand side. Shhh, nobody will ever know.

It's going to be magnetted in place like this.
Except with wheels and not a paintbrush.

Commissar cadets.
Gonna have L plates and a cadet driving it, the other hanging off the back waving the Highway Code.

I'm eventually going to have a hands on hips commissar made from the tank commander commissar, and either stand him on the base looking very annoyed, or on the side of the vehicle like, "sigh."

Love that. I was wondering how it would fit without covering your water base.

Those bases look great, man. Very realistic! As far as that fabric goes, i'd say you've done very well. Looks well layered and smooth.

Thanks very much. I am happy with him. Just hope I can get the rest done in time.

First cast of my driver... Bubbly. Trying again having borrowed a tiny high frequency vibrating implement.

Accidentally went down to the council office with that in my pocket. Thank god I had no reason to retrieve my keys.

Frustratingly I can only post one pic at a time from IPhone, so bear with me here.

Snowed my tanks, bar one.

Had a go with decals on my CCS chimera.
Needs varnish yet.

Why they made only one of each regimental name on the decal sheets, I'll never know.

You know, because I want to put the words Necromunda on my tanks in two different fonts?

Anyway, sparkle tank is next.

Regiment itself is now based and looking a billion times better for it.
Snow = veterans and CCS
Grass = troops

See, I'm learning.
