New spacewolf dreadnaught by Simon Egan is looking fine and is done, the detail on the runic carving is excellent, agreed not to take a picture but if your able to get to warhammer world its on display. His next project, Ravenguard Dreadnaught! Yay!

Also the elesian 6 wheeled vehicle is done and also looking very fine with twin linked multi lasers and other twin linked options.

He is next considering working on a 4 wheeled version with a single heavy weapon some what like a dune buggy!

If I collected Space Wolves I'd be very excited about a Forgeworld Dreadnought.

Did they say when the SW Dread would be previewed by FW?

The Elesian vehicle did not look like a transport, more like a razor back mobile weapon platform.

The dread had a power claw and assault cannon. Very nice back banner with a wolf head partially rotted back to a skull on the left side. It had basically only just been finished and they did ask for people not to take pictures as the official ones had not been released but it was finished. So new the guy had to ask Will the sculpter if the vehicle was done yet, which he confirmed it was.

Simon was said to have dived right into the Raven guard dread, so spring for a finish I'd suspect?

Minor annoyance for me with the Raven guard as shoulder pads are likely which will make the ones I've already done defunct and everyone will have some! Damn!

The *basic* F.A.V. is supposed to have transport capabilities.

It's cool either way. It's about time the Imperium got some wheels. Sorry, no one and nothing is going to convince me that anything with tracks can be classified as Tank, Fast vehicles. (Looking at you Salamander Scouts and Hellhouds.)

I'd actually like to see more Imperial wheeled AFVs. The scratchbuild/converted WWII armored car ones always look really cool, but I want a true 41st millennium Stryker-based vehicle.

I mean, I'm pretty much a sucker for all things Guard, yet the AFV does nothing for me.

Well...it's not an AFV. That'd imply it has armor.

It's more like a HMMV or a Land Rover. Fast response vehicle that can be upgunned. But still. I'm waiting to see the finalized product before finally committing to an Elysian army.

Otherwise, I've got about $1620 I can put into saving for a new car.

You're cofusing A.F.V. with F.A.V. Two military acronyms designed to confuse.

For the record: A.F.V. = Armored Fighting Vehicle. F.A.V. = Fast Attack Vehicle

I haven't actually seen it, but it sounds similar to the Mako from Mass Effect; lightly armoured, armed with moderately powerful weapons, and designed for traversing rough terrain (although unlike the Mako I doubt it can drive up walls).

And Cheese--it's more of a raider vehicle than a main battle vehicle. That role, in an Elysian force, is filled by Sentinels and Vultures.
