After about 4 months of no time at all I ahve finally managed to pick up a paintbrush again!

Next up is half of my CCS in carapace. Still working on the ML team and my Astropath.

I felt it would be more "realistic" for the bulked up armour to be in the same camo pattern as the rest of the uniform, however it does mean that it gets a bit lost... Anyone got any ideas?

Basing, divisonal markings and rank stripes have yet to be added but the bulk of the work has been done.

Also if anyone has an idea of what I should do with the Medic's arm mount, speak up... Having a bit of an inspiration block.

Anyway, the main event (colours might be a bit bright due to Dakka auto-correct):

Group Shot

Colonel Nonchalant and Major "Banjo" Buchannan

The colonel and his favourite supportmeister once more (particularly happy about the scabbard marking)

Medic and Vox-op

Medic markings

And for fun and games a half-assed attempt at image modification:

Where'd you get the heads from? They look fantastic. In fact, the entire squad looks excellent.

The camo pattern is very well done, and even though it blends the armour and soft clothing together a bit at a distance, upon a close look, people should notice. If worse comes to worse, just use a nice heavy wash to make everything stand out. Although with what you have now, I wouldn't recommend it.

Those heads look like Pig Iron heads. Maybe this type? http://www.pig-iron-productions.com/hd6-heavy-infantry-visored-head-sprues-p-16.html

Awesome job on a very detailed CCS

Thanks guys.

@Fafnir - they are indeed Pig Iron Heavy Infantry heads. I got the HD5 Assorted pack to get the extended optics heads for various characters. I was wondering if I should wash them, but decided against it as I am not planning on washing the rest of the infantry.

@alarmingrick - hmm.. well as long as you have spares I have some other images in my gallery of finished infantry and vehicles. And my avatar has to have something to do
