INTRODUCTION
This was a while ago and may not be entirely accurate, but the results are. Comments and questions welcome. Enjoy!

[HQ] Big Mek, Kustom Force Field, Burna (105pts)
[EL] 9 Kommandoz including 2 Burnas plus Snikrot (205pts)
[TR] 11 Shoota boyz (Big Mek attached) including Big Shoota and Nob with Slugga, Powerklaw and Boss Pole in a Trukk with Big Shoota, Boarding Plank, Reinforced Ram and Red Paint Job (161pts)
[TR] 12 Shoota boyz including Big Shoota and Nob with Slugga, Powerklaw and Boss Pole in a Trukk with Big Shoota, Reinforced Ram and Red Paint Job (162pts)
[FA] 2 Deffkoptas with twin linked rocket launchas and one with a Buzzsaw (115pts)

MISSION & DEPLOYMENT: Capture & Control, Dawn of War

PRELUDE
Tau chooses to go first.

Tau sets up objective in crater in top left. Orks set up objective amongst rocks opposite in south.

Tau sets up Commander in Crisis Suit behind crater with their objective and a Devilfish transporting Firewarriors top centre between the two forests.

Big Mek plus Trukk boyz in Trukk set up 18" away from Tau Commander. Deffkoptas outflank. Snikrot and Kommandos ambush.

Orks fail to seize the initiative.

TURN 1
Two Hammerheads fly on, one down from the top left edge near the Tau Commander, the other alongside another Devilfish transporting Firewarriors which move with the original Devilfish south. The Tau Commander in Crisis Suit spots the Trukk and pops it.

Second Trukk comes on and moves flat out towards the wreckage of the first Trukk. Big Mek and boyz head towards the Hammerhead, Tau Commander and Tau objective, but are hindered by wreckage.

ORKS: 0 Objectives (0 KP), TAU: 0 Objectives (1 KP)

TURN 2
Left Hammerhead moves south, hugging the left edge. Centre Hammerhead and two Devilfish continue south and slightly left coming around the forest. Fire decimates the Big Mek's squad and pops the second Trukk - things are not looking good...

The Deffkoptas arrive on the right and move towards the tasty rear armour of the group of Devilfish and Hammerhead in the centre. Big Mek and what is left of his boyz move towards the Tau Commander and objective while the other Trukk boyz head towards the left Hammerhead. Shooting accomplishes nothing and no one is in assault range due to difficult terrain (wreckages)

ORKS: 0 Objectives (0 KP), TAU: 0 Objectives (2 KP)

TURN 3
Left Hammerhead continues south along the left edge. A Devilfish splits off and heads further south towards the Ork objective, whilst the other Devilfish and Hammerhead head left towards the action. Shooting sees the Big Mek's squad decimated.

Snikrot and his Kommandos show up on the left, spread out so that Snikrot can have a go at the Hammerhead whilst the Burnas eye off the Tau Commander. The second Trukk boyz Nob continues to lead his mob towards the Hammerhead to help Snikrot out whilst the Big Mek moves to join his mob. Shooting is a wash. Snikrot fails to hit the fast moving skimmer, I think the Nob had better luck and managed to destroy the Railgun... The Burnas do their job against the Tau Commander.

ORKS: 0 Objectives (1 KP), TAU: 0 Objectives (3 KP)

TURN 4
Left Hammerhead continues south over some difficult terrain. Bottom Devilfish continues south and left around a building to take the Ork objective. Remaining Hammerhead and Devilfish continue left along the centre. Shooting wipes the Big Mek and his boyz.

Kommandos chase the Hammerhead south whilst the Deffkopters continue left, chasing the other skimmers. Firing is a wash as usual. The Kommandos assault the Hammerhead again, and even though Snikrot continues to have no luck, one of the Kommandos gets lucky and immobilises it, causing it to crash.

ORKS: 0 Objectives (2 KP), TAU: 1 Objective (5 KP)

TURN 5
Top Devilfish moves north over difficult terrain and Tau objective, claiming it. Other Devilfish remains at Ork objective. Hammerhead lines up Kommandos. Shooting reduces the Kommandos to two, but they hold!

In a last desperate attempt for a draw, the Kommandos run to contest the Ork objective and the Deffkoptas turbo boost to contest the Tau objective.

ORKS: 0 Objectives (2 KP), TAU: 0 Objectives (5 KP)

DRAW!

AFTERMATH
Good example of what happens when both Trukks are popped before unloading their contents. Not sure if it would have been better to bring both Trukks on first turn. Still, unlucky to be spotted and popped first turn...

Armour was also an issue - may have been better to turbo boost the Deffkoptas when they first came on to apply more pressure on the skimmers (chance to assault as well, though on 6s.) Better still may have been not to outflank at all and turbo boost on first turn to where they would have been useful.
