The breach assembly is a nice touch.

It looks really good. I've always been annoyed by there being no model, FW or Citadel, and no viable conversion for the Colossus. You pulled it off well.

Very nice conversion - you've now persuaded me to make my own rather than buy the forgeworld model.

This is awesome - but beyond my skill and/or patience to build personally, sadly.

So, I'm still holding out hope for a GW plastic kit.

Or, the FW route.

Or, perhaps you'd be willing to build some more...

Lol, worth a try eh Alpharius?

That is looking super cool! The gun parts are bugging the hell out of me though (because I feel like I should recognize the parts), what did you make the barrel etc out of at the beginning, the parts look really familiar.

Its just a 3/4" wooden dowel wrapped in pasticard. Then the ends have various diamoters of plastic tubing. The breach assemblies source was from a small motor from an old toy I had that wripped apart for the little metal bits on the. So the metal and that off white end of the breach is from that. The back back end of the ends is a searchlight which is probably what your thinking off.

More pics soon, i've glued on almost 200 rivets and I'm only about 1/3 done. And yes I am counting my rivets to the bitter end.

I think the pistons on the back of the breach assembly would look better if they were larger in diameter, but other than that it looks amazing And I love the use of those lego parts. I cant remember what they (those style of Legos) were called though

I dint know forge world built one of these things? The bombard is a very different tank if you meant the one they have on a leman russ hull.

This conversion kicks arse esp the lego crane might have to steal that for when I get around to making a techmarines rhino. Nice work.

That line is now called Lego Technic. But I know thats not the orginal name for when it came out 12-15 years ago, which I too am stuggling to come up with the name for it.

Well much progress has been made as promised. I hit an exact total of 375 rivets used. I have some minor house keeping on a few spots then the main part of the tank will be ready for priming. I still have alot more work to do with the crew. By far the thing that enjoyed building the most was the ammo crate.
