Just to clarify:

This forum is to discuss tournament topics relating to any game...announcing a tournament, discussing tournament results or discussing the rules involved in putting on a tournament.

If you want to discuss armies or tactics to use in a tournament you would still want to post in the appropriate forums for those games.

It really depends...if it is more of a series of actual battle reports, then it should really go in the battle reports forum (or the forum relating to that game in the case of less popular games on Dakka).

But if it is more of an overall report of the tournament then it could go in the tournament forum.


But in general I think anything with pics is better off in the battle report forum.

I know there can be some drama involved, but I also was looking for a centralized place to find out about tournaments... so this is great, imho!

maybe there should be stickies at the top which lists links to up and coming tourneys.
Like this one but maybe kept basic and locked.
I rarely go to the 'find a game' forum, So I miss out on this info. Is there a way to mirror a thread so that it shows up on more that one forum?

also it would probabily be best to separtate out areas?

I approve this change.

I approve of the forum, but disapprove of it being above Dakka Discussions. Now I'm gonna keep clicking tournaments by accident.

Agreed, especially with the low post count. Put it adjacent to Articles, or down at the bottom with Campaigns.

I'd like to see it moved down below Dakka Disussions also, preferably right above Find a Game, but I'm weird that way.
