Great work on the DP! The pink & purple veiny look has some suitable ...overtones. Veins also look nicely subdermal.

Maulerfiend is looking great, as well.

Thanks Az and everyone :-) I'm pretty chuffed that the veins look good and sub dermal, I have actually just finished him tonight but I don't have enough good light to get a photo or twelve! I darkened some purples and added some darker veins as well as painted the wrist wraps as leather and glossed them for a subtle sheen, lets hope it comes together as a whole, his head is my favorite part but also the most concern as far as detail goes :-) but you can have a look in a few short hours!

Righto! the Daemon Prince is finally done! finished, wrapped up! I could have kept going with him but then i'd end up overdoing it and I didn't want that so this is the final result of a shallow corner of my creativity the veins turned out better than I'd hoped and somehow each time i look at him i imagine his roar of defiance sounding like a deep popping bleating which is kinda cool I also did the shaft of his axe as aged bone, doesn't show up too well in the pics but it does look quite aged, I used the myriad of large bones littering my backyard as reference! I have added a heap of images because some show parts that other shots don't I hope that's o.k?

Oh enough of me blabbering, I think he looks good and I hope you guys like him

That's amazing, NF. Very creepy, but the painting is just outstanding. The veins are very well done, as everyone else has commented, but I really like the shading from purple to pink. Very nice work.

I think since you've named him so obviously, the parts in question should be more obvious as well. They blend in much too well with their surroundings.

I can't wait to see what else I can imagine for the Slaaneshi minions! I think the veins are going to carry through on larger models, I'm still struggling to get the lines cut into 'Pinheads' head I had an attempt at one and the hard part is getting the lines deep enough to see without deleting the details of his face, any suggestions?

and I started more on him today actually wanted to go a bit darker overall than Baal'sak as I want more filigree than veins on the daemon engine, the termie lord is started too but not enough paint yet to be interesting!

Looking nice (well, you know what I mean ) and the circles on the back make more sense now.

Another small update on Spurt'aan the Maulerfiend! I washed him with purple and Baal red washes to smooth the blends in and detail the smaller intricacies, I am torn between doing more on him or starting in earnest on the termie lord? opinions?

also I am desperately searching for some bits sites I can grab a few sets of the Talos tentacle arms from I tried ebay but it'd cost a small fortune sadly so I now turn to my trusty companions to enlighten me! they shall be used for my take on a Heldrake and hopefully the Decimator
