Really liking the filigree work you have going there. Shows the power seeping through nicely.

This army will wow the opponents and they will be too mesmerized by the detail to actually fight right!

Well, I need to echo myself again and say thank you to everyone I really enjoy doing bits and pieces that people actually like and look forward to seeing the progression especially when i'm so passionate about painting the models with all the help and ideas that you have given me over the last few years, it's been a huge help to keep me inspired and I can definitely feel myself getting stronger and more impassioned with ideas I am already beginning to toss around ideas for my next force I may 'collect' them but won't start until my other ones are done! either going to be Tyranids or a converted Mechanicus army? thoughts?

I have started the gold banding on the armour of the fiend but not enough to show yet as it's just base coating tomorrow should see a pic update and I must say it will look great! it helps the purple and pinks shine! SHINE I TELL YOU! Bwahahahahahah!

Thats a tough choice to be totally honest. Some of the absolute coolest armies Ive seen were nicely done Nid forces. Those bugs just take paint like nothing else. Then again, a Mechanicus army is an entire one off build where EVERYTHING needs to be planned and built. So could be very cool, or incredibly too much to tackle.

Finished Spurt'aan today totally love him too! such a fun model to paint and I am pretty happy with how I did the freehand stuff I didn't pick out every single cable and detail as I didn't think he needed it done, with 2 of these guys, a Decimator and a Contemptor this army will be looking pretty BIG!

so, what do you think so far? I have some ideas for a Heldrake too which I shall be working on when a few bits arrive! (still need tentacles though ..... Gits I said 'Tentacles'!)

Oh wow Spurt'aan is totally amazing, I love everything about him, the mottle effect on the tentacles is lovely. Makes me want to go back and paint filigree on my Slaanesh terminators as they look rather boring now lol

Cheers dudes! he was very enjoyable to paint! ;-) and I'm pleased he works together as a whole model, from these two models i've recently done will be the same colours all through my force now!

I'm working on the Termie Lord tomorrow and hopefully I can finish him this week too! as well as get some more assembling and converting done!

That walker is really, really good.

Love the vibrant colour and additional "texture" you added to this model by freehanding. Most of the time, this one looks like a big machine but you made it look overwhelmingly organic. Good stuff!
