I agree. I wasn't knocking it, I'm a big fan of the Stompa

As a counter point to this, the thread here really shows how NOT to use a Green Tide.

It really was a catalog of errors.
No Painboy
Shootas instead of Sluggas. Really the Tide isn't for shooting. The chances of having the entire tide in range and LoS is slim. In this case the Tide stood back rather than charge, leaving it out of position later on.
Tide Warboss was not the Warlord, denying the Tide of a Waagh! each turn.
