The idea behind the multi-part kit is that you will eventually be able to put together your own infantry kit, picking the arms, heads, torsos and so on. I will definitely pass on the word to Icesword about the gasmask heads, perhaps he will make some variations on it.

A small message from Ed:

Sorry everyone that I've been so slow getting the new equipment running. I did the last of the electric work this weekend and we are now online! The machines for casting, molding, thermoforming and even the 3d milling machine are all in place. I'm super psyched about it.

I've also been working on a new product for us and test 1 of 2 worked perfect, so it will be shown very soon as well. I'm doing this to create more money for you and TFM by selling more volume, or so I hope, as well as better quality. More latter.

That said I'm getting everyone prepped for molds right now who is waiting. I'm also altering a few favorites for optional casts and a few more products. I'm going to be adding 2 new big mutants of mine along with several of the old range which have sold well. Build, Ice, Bocks, Rozmax, and a few others.

Also making a few alternate casts or variations of the evil dwarf for Roz, a surprise to get him more cash as he sent in a sick wyvern I'm still making in rtv. Anyway, hope is to have about 30 new minis done in 2-3 weeks max. Wish me luck and I'll keep everyone updated.

I'll be very scarce here for a bit as I'll be pulling a few all nighters with work and my son becoming more time consuming. Thanks again all of you and this is going to be a big year for all of us.

Don't worry! Taller, more human sized figures are on their way Icesword is working on them. The smaller figures are meant to be drones and are more akin to children than to adults.

I do think that Icesword was more influenced by the Guild Navigator's bodyguards from the 1984 Dune film for his normal sized Techno Union fellows. At least that's what he said a long time ago.

Small update:

There have been some delays in the casting due to some stuff going kind of wrong. However this was a valuable lesson on the road to producing plastic miniatures (yes you heard it right!)

I've put forward your suggestion of making the helmets separate.

On another note, check out some painted versions of IceSword's zombies...scary huh?

And also...Ed is still working on releasing the models in plastic, this means that stuff will most likely to become not only cheaper, but also easier to work with!

Well, honestly, I'm not too big on the Vermin Queen yet. Looks like some of the proportions might be off. I'll have to wait and see, though.

If I'm not mistaken IceSword either sent them up to Ed to be cast (small delay due to the plastic experimentations) or he ditched them because he wasn't totally happy with them. I think it's the former though.

@lasgunpacker: I know, IceSword mentioned he might redo them smaller and make these more elite like (armoured, bionics, etc).
